संस्कृत अकादमी शिमला के तत्वावधान में राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय निहालगढ़ में जिलास्तरीय संस्कृत प्रतियोगिता का सफल आयोजन किया गया। प्रतियोगिता में जिला सिरमौर के 35 विद्यालयों से लगभग 100 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लेकर संस्कृत भाषा में अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि उपनिदेशक शिक्षा नाहन रहे। उन्होंने श्लोकोच्चारण, मंत्रोच्चारण, भाषण एवं संस्कृत गीतिका प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रथम, द्वितीय व तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त करने वाले विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कार प्रदान कर सम्मानित किया तथा संस्कृत भाषा के संरक्षण और प्रचार-प्रसार पर बल दिया। प्रतियोगिता के संयोजक भगत राम चौहान तथा सह संयोजक भगवताचार्य, राधेश्याम रहे, जबकि पर्यवेक्षक देवेन्द्र शर्मा ने कार्यक्रम की निगरानी की। कार्यक्रम में विशिष्ट अतिथि जगत राम शर्मा, लायक राम शर्मा, भूपेश धीमान, लायक राम कंवर, संस्कृत शिक्षक परिषद जिला सिरमौर की कार्यकारिणी तथा विभिन्न विद्यालयों के शास्त्री अध्यापक उपस्थित रहे।

श्लोकोच्चारण प्रतियोगिता में प्रतिज्ञा (रा.उ.उ.वि. सिरमौरी ताल) व अवनीत कौर ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया, भारती देवी (रा.व.मा.वि. अम्बोया) द्वितीय तथा अभिनव राणा (रा.उ.वि. धार) तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। वही मंत्रोच्चारण प्रतियोगिता में तेजस्वी (रा.व.मा.वि. भंगानी) प्रथम, आदित्य शर्मा (दून वैली इंटरनेशनल पब्लिक स्कूल, राजबन) व नवजोत चौधरी द्वितीय तथा सभ्य शर्मा (रा.उ.वि. सिरमौरी ताल) तृतीय स्थान पर रहे। इसके साथ ही भाषण प्रतियोगिता में रवीना प्रथम, स्मृति द्वितीय व पीहू तृतीय स्थान पर रहीं। संस्कृत गीतिका प्रतियोगिता में समृद्धि ने प्रथम, आर्यन तोमर (रा.मा.वि. निहालगढ़) ने द्वितीय तथा वंदना शर्मा (दून वैली, पांवटा साहिब) ने तृतीय स्थान प्राप्त किया।कार्यक्रम में धनवीर शर्मा, गोविंद शर्मा, दिलीप वशिष्ठ, संजय, कमलेश शर्मा, रजनीश शर्मा, चंबल चौधरी, अमित शर्मा, सतीश शर्मा, रोशन शर्मा सहित अनेक गणमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित रहे।

A district-level Sanskrit competition was successfully organized at Government Senior Secondary School, Nihalgarh, under the auspices of the Sanskrit Academy, Shimla. Approximately 100 students from 35 schools in Sirmaur district participated in the competition, showcasing their talent in the Sanskrit language. The Deputy Director of Education, Nahan, was the chief guest at the event. He awarded prizes to the students who secured first, second, and third positions in the recitation of verses, chanting of mantras, speech, and Sanskrit song competitions, and emphasized the importance of preserving and promoting the Sanskrit language. Bhagat Ram Chauhan was the convener of the competition, while Bhagwatacharya and Radheshyam served as co-conveners. Devendra Sharma supervised the program. Distinguished guests present at the event included Jagat Ram Sharma, Layak Ram Sharma, Bhupesh Dhiman, Layak Ram Kanwar, members of the executive committee of the Sanskrit Teachers’ Council of Sirmaur district, and Sanskrit teachers from various schools.

In the Sanskrit verse recitation competition, Pratigya (Government Senior Secondary School, Sirmauri Tal) and Avneet Kaur secured first place, Bharti Devi (Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Amboya) came second, and Abhinav Rana (Government High School, Dhar) secured third place. In the mantra chanting competition, Tejasvi (Government Senior Secondary School, Bhangani) secured first place, Aditya Sharma (Doon Valley International Public School, Rajban) and Navjot Chaudhary came second, and Sabhya Sharma (Government High School, Sirmauri Tal) secured third place. In the speech competition, Raveena secured first place, Smriti second, and Pihu third. In the Sanskrit song competition, Samridhi secured first place, Aryan Tomar (Government High School, Nihalgarh) second, and Vandana Sharma (Doon Valley, Paonta Sahib) third. Many dignitaries, including Dhanveer Sharma, Govind Sharma, Dilip Vashisht, Sanjay, Kamlesh Sharma, Rajneesh Sharma, Chambal Chaudhary, Amit Sharma, Satish Sharma, and Roshan Sharma, were present at the event.
