सिरमौर पुलिस की खनन माफिया के विरुद्ध बड़ी कार्रवाई: 39 वाहन जब्त/डिटेन

जिला सिरमौर में अवैध खनन पर प्रभावी रोक लगाने के उद्देश्य से पुलिस द्वारा विशेष अभियान चलाया गया। पुलिस अधीक्षक के निर्देशों पर 19 और 20 जनवरी 2026 को जिले के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों में यह कार्रवाई अमल में लाई गई, जिसके तहत अवैध खनन और मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के उल्लंघन के मामलों में कुल 39 वाहनों को जब्त/डिटेन किया गया। इस विशेष अभियान के दौरान ट्रैक्टर, डंपर और ट्राला जैसे भारी वाहनों की गहन जांच की गई। जांच में पाया गया कि कई वाहन बिना वैध अनुमति खनन सामग्री का परिवहन कर रहे थे, वहीं कुछ वाहन मोटर वाहन अधिनियम के प्रावधानों का उल्लंघन करते हुए सड़कों पर दौड़ रहे थे। ऐसे सभी वाहनों के खिलाफ नियमानुसार सख्त कार्रवाई की गई।

जानकारी के अनुसार, सबसे अधिक कार्रवाई पांवटा साहिब क्षेत्र में की गई, जहां 19 वाहनों को जब्त किया गया। इसके अतिरिक्त नाहन पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र में 7 वाहन, माजरा में 3 वाहन और राजगढ़ में 1 वाहन को डिटेन किया गया। इसी क्रम में पुरुवाला पुलिस थाना क्षेत्र से 4 वाहन, कालाअम्ब से 1 वाहन, रेनुकाजी से 2 वाहन तथा पच्छाद क्षेत्र से 2 वाहन जब्त किए गए हैं। सभी मामलों में संबंधित विभागों के साथ समन्वय कर आगे की कानूनी प्रक्रिया अमल में लाई जा रही है। जिला सिरमौर पुलिस ने खनन माफिया को स्पष्ट और सख्त संदेश दिया है कि अवैध खनन तथा यातायात नियमों के उल्लंघन को किसी भी सूरत में बर्दाश्त नहीं किया जाएगा। पुलिस का कहना है कि पर्यावरण संरक्षण, सड़क सुरक्षा और कानून व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए इस प्रकार के विशेष अभियान भविष्य में भी निरंतर जारी रहेंगे और किसी भी संदिग्ध गतिविधि पर तुरंत कठोर कार्रवाई की जाएगी।

A special operation was launched by the police to effectively curb illegal mining in Sirmaur district. On the instructions of the Superintendent of Police, this operation was carried out in various areas of the district on January 19th and 20th, 2026, resulting in the seizure and detention of 39 vehicles for illegal mining and violations of the Motor Vehicles Act. During this special operation, heavy vehicles such as tractors, dumpers, and trailers were thoroughly checked. The inspection revealed that many vehicles were transporting mining material without valid permits, while some were plying on the roads in violation of the Motor Vehicles Act. Strict action was taken against all such vehicles as per the rules.

According to information, the highest number of operations were carried out in the Paonta Sahib area, where 19 vehicles were seized. Additionally, seven vehicles were detained in the Nahan police station area, three in Majra, and one in Rajgarh. In this sequence, 4 vehicles were seized from the Puruwala police station area, 1 vehicle from Kala Amb, 2 vehicles from Renukaji and 2 vehicles from Pachhad area. In all cases, further legal procedures are being implemented in coordination with the concerned departments. The Sirmaur district police has given a clear and strict message to the mining mafia that illegal mining and violation of traffic rules will not be tolerated under any circumstances. The police say that such special campaigns will continue in the future to protect the environment, road safety and maintain law and order, and strict action will be taken immediately on any suspicious activity.
