शिलाई विधानसभा क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत नवयुवक मंडल क्यारी-गुंडाहा की एक अहम आम बैठक का आयोजन किया गया। बैठक में युवाओं ने नशे के खिलाफ “सिरमौर जोड़ो पदयात्रा” को लेकर विस्तृत जानकारी मीडिया व सोशल मीडिया के माध्यम से साझा की। युवाओं ने बताया कि यह पदयात्रा 22 जनवरी 2026 से 26 जनवरी 2026 तक आयोजित की जाएगी। यात्रा की शुरुआत 22 जनवरी को सुबह 9 बजे क्यारी-गुंडाहा से होगी और पहले दिन यह यात्रा शाम को कफोटा में विश्राम करेगी। 23 जनवरी को पदयात्रा सुबह 9 बजे कफोटा से रवाना होकर सतोन पहुंचेगी। वहीं 24 जनवरी को यात्रा सतोन से शुरू होकर पांवटा साहिब पहुंचेगी। 25 जनवरी को पांवटा साहिब से धौलाकुआं तक पदयात्रा निकाली जाएगी।

वहीं 26 जनवरी को सुबह 6 बजे धौलाकुआं से रवाना होकर यह यात्रा सुबह 11 बजे नाहन चौगान में संपन्न होगी। नवयुवक मंडल के पदाधिकारियों ने बताया कि प्रतिदिन लगभग 30 किलोमीटर पैदल यात्रा की जाएगी और कुल मिलाकर यह यात्रा 121 किलोमीटर की होगी। युवाओं ने समाज के सभी वर्गों—महिलाओं, युवाओं, सामाजिक संगठनों, बुद्धिजीवियों से अपील की है कि इस मार्ग पर जहां भी संभव हो, वे इस पदयात्रा से जुड़कर समाज को नशा मुक्त बनाने के अभियान में भागीदारी निभाएं। युवाओं ने चिंता जताते हुए कहा कि सिंथेटिक नशा, विशेषकर चिट्टा और केमिकल नशा, अब शहरों से गांवों की ओर तेजी से फैल रहा है, जिसे रोकना अत्यंत आवश्यक है। नवयुवक मंडल ने अवैध नशा तस्करों को कड़ी चेतावनी देते हुए कहा कि वे समय रहते अपना अवैध धंधा बंद कर दें, अन्यथा अब उन्हें बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। अंत में मंडल ने सभी वर्गों से इस पदयात्रा में शामिल होकर सिरमौर व हिमाचल प्रदेश को नशा मुक्त बनाने में सहयोग देने की अपील की।

A crucial general meeting of the Nav Yuvak Mandal (Youth Club) of Kyari-Gundaha, under the Shillai assembly constituency, was held. During the meeting, the youth shared detailed information about the “Sirmaur Jodo Padayatra” (Sirmaur Unity March) against drug abuse through media and social media. They announced that the march will be held from January 22, 2026, to January 26, 2026. The march will begin at 9:00 AM on January 22nd from Kyari-Gundaha and will rest in Kafota in the evening of the first day. On January 23rd, the march will depart from Kafota at 9:00 AM and reach Saton. On January 24th, the march will start from Saton and reach Paonta Sahib. On January 25th, the march will proceed from Paonta Sahib to Dhaulakuan.

The march will depart from Dhaula Kuan at 6:00 AM on January 26th and conclude at Nahan Chaugan at 11:00 AM. Officials of the youth organization stated that approximately 30 kilometers will be covered on foot each day, making the total distance of the march 121 kilometers. The youth have appealed to all sections of society—women, young people, social organizations, and intellectuals—to join this march wherever possible along the route and participate in the campaign to make society drug-free. Expressing concern, the youth stated that synthetic drugs, especially heroin and other chemical drugs, are now spreading rapidly from cities to villages, and it is crucial to stop this trend. The youth organization issued a strong warning to illegal drug traffickers, urging them to stop their illegal activities immediately, otherwise, they will not be spared. Finally, the organization appealed to all sections of society to participate in this march and contribute to making Sirmaur and Himachal Pradesh drug-free.
