हिमाचल प्रदेश में सुक्खू सरकार ने चिट्टे तस्करी में बड़ा एक्शन लिया था। सरकार ने सोमवार को 11 पुलिस कर्मियों को नौकरी से बर्खास्त कर दिया। इन कर्मचारियों के खिलाफ यह कार्रवाई प्रदेश सरकार की चिट्टा और नशे के खिलाफ शून्य सहिष्णुता नीति के अनुरूप, एनडीपीएस एक्ट के मामलों में संलिप्त पाये जाने पर की गई है। यह कार्रवाई भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 311(2) (बी) के तहत की गई है।यह कार्रवाई स्पष्ट और कठोर संदेश है कि कानून की रक्षा करने वाली पुलिस बल में कानून तोड़ने वालों के लिए कोई स्थान नहीं है।जानकारी के अनुसार, सरकार ने भारतीय रिजर्व बटालियन बनगढ़ में तैनात इंस्पेक्टर नीरज कुमार, बिलासपुर में तैनात पुलिस कांस्टेबल शुभम ठाकुर, भारतीय रिजर्व बटालियन पंडोह में तैनात कांस्टेबल कपिल, एसडीआरएफ में तैनात कांस्टेबल शिव कुमार को नौकरी से निकाल दिया।

इसके अलावा, शिमला पुलिस में तैनात कांस्टेबल लक्ष्य चौहान, एसवी एंड एसीबी में तैनात कांस्टेबल/ड्राइवर विशाल ठाकुर, 4-भारतीय रिजर्व बटालियन जंगलबैरी में तैनात कांस्टेबल गौरव वर्मा, 2-भारतीय रिजर्व बटालियन सकोह में तैनात कांस्टेबल/ड्राईवर संदीप राणा, एसडीआरएफ में तैनात कांस्टेबल अंकुश कुमार, स्टेट सीआईडी में तैनात कांस्टेबल रजत चंदेल तथा जिला शिमला में तैनात कांस्टेबल राहुल वर्मा को सेवा से बर्खास्त किया गया है।शिमला में एक उच्च स्तरीय बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए मुख्यमंत्री ठाकुर सुखविन्द्र सिंह सुक्खू ने कहा कि पुलिस की जिम्मेदारी चिट्टे के खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की है। अगर पुलिस कर्मी ही चिट्टा गतिविधियों में शामिल होंगे तो इस तरह की सख्त कार्रवाई अनिवार्य है। चिट्टा तस्करी व अवैध कारोबार में शामिल किसी भी व्यक्ति को बख्शा नहीं जाएगा। चिट्टा गतिविधियों में शामिल सरकारी कर्मचारियों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जा रही है। डीजीपी अशोक तिवारी ने पुलिस की ओर से चिट्टे के खिलाफ लिए गए एक्शन के बारे में प्रजेंटेशन दी।मुख्यमंत्री ने सभी विभागों को निर्देश दिए कि चिट्टे की तस्करी और चिट्टा गतिविधियों में शामिल सभी कर्मचारियां की विस्तृत रिपोर्ट तैयार कर इसकी सूचना मुख्य सचिव को शीघ्र प्रदान की जाए। उन्होंने कर्मचारियों की ओर से चिट्टे से कमाई गई सम्पत्ति की रिपोर्ट तैयार कर सरकार को भेजने के निर्देश भी दिए।

The Sukhu government in Himachal Pradesh has taken major action against drug trafficking. On Monday, the government dismissed 11 police personnel from their jobs. This action against these personnel is in line with the state government’s zero-tolerance policy against drug trafficking and for their involvement in NDPS Act cases. This action was taken under Article 311(2)(b) of the Indian Constitution. This action sends a clear and strong message that there is no place for lawbreakers in the law-abiding police force. According to reports, the government dismissed Inspector Neeraj Kumar, posted at the Indian Reserve Battalion, Bangarh, Police Constable Shubham Thakur, posted at Bilaspur, Constable Kapil, posted at the Indian Reserve Battalion, Pandoh, and Constable Shiv Kumar, posted at the SDRF. Additionally, Constable Lakshya Chauhan of the Shimla Police, Constable/Driver Vishal Thakur of the Special Vigilance and Investigation Bureau (SV&ACB), Constable Gaurav Verma of the 4th Indian Reserve Battalion, Junglebari, Constable/Driver Sandeep Rana of the 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh, Constable Ankush Kumar of the SDRF, Constable Rajat Chandel of the State CID, and Constable Rahul Verma of the Shimla District have been dismissed from service. Chairing a high-level meeting in Shimla, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu stated that the police have a responsibility to take strict action against Chitta. Such strict action is necessary if police personnel themselves are found involved in Chitta activities. No one involved in Chitta smuggling and illegal trade will be spared. Strict action is being taken against government employees involved in Chitta activities. DGP Ashok Tiwari gave a presentation on the police action taken against Chitta. The Chief Minister directed all departments to prepare a detailed report on all employees involved in Chitta smuggling and Chitta activities and submit it to the Chief Secretary immediately. He also gave instructions to prepare a report of the property earned by the employees through chitta and send it to the government.
