सिरमौर जिले के औद्योगिक क्षेत्र कालाअंब स्थित हिमाचल पैकर्स कंपनी में ड्यूटी के दौरान हुए एक दर्दनाक हादसे में एक कामगार की मशीन में बाजू कटने से मौत हो गई। घटना के बाद पुलिस थाना कालाअंब में फैक्ट्री प्रबंधन के खिलाफ लापरवाही बरतने के आरोप में मामला दर्ज किया गया है। पुलिस के अनुसार ड्यूटी के दौरान काम करते समय एक मशीन में फंसने से कामगार की बाजू कट गई, घायल अवस्था में उसे बचाने का प्रयास किया गया, लेकिन अत्यधिक रक्तस्राव के चलते उसकी मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहचान अशोक कुमार, निवासी गांव व डाकघर न्योली बासा, तहसील सरीला, जिला हमीरपुर (उत्तर प्रदेश) के रूप में हुई है। परिजनों का आरोप है कि कंपनी प्रबंधन द्वारा सुरक्षा मानकों की अनदेखी की गई, जिसके कारण यह हादसा हुआ। जिला सिरमौर के पुलिस अधीक्षक एनएस नेगी ने घटना की पुष्टि करते हुए बताया कि कालाअम्ब औद्योगिक क्षेत्र स्थित हिमाचल पैकर्स कंपनी के विरुद्ध मृतक के परिजनों की शिकायत के आधार पर एफआईआर दर्ज की गई है। पुलिस मामले की गहन जांच कर रही है।

A worker died in a tragic accident at the Himachal Packers company in the Kala Amb industrial area of Sirmaur district when his arm was severed by a machine while he was on duty. Following the incident, a case has been registered against the factory management at the Kala Amb police station on charges of negligence. According to the police, the worker’s arm was caught in a machine while he was working. Attempts were made to save him, but he died due to excessive bleeding. The deceased has been identified as Ashok Kumar, a resident of Nyoli Basa village and post office, Sarila tehsil, Hamirpur district (Uttar Pradesh). His family alleges that the company management neglected safety standards, which led to the accident. Sirmaur District Superintendent of Police NS Negi confirmed the incident and stated that an FIR has been registered against Himachal Packers company in the Kala Amb industrial area based on a complaint from the deceased’s family. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
