नशे के विरुद्ध छेड़े गए अभियान के तहत राजगढ़ पुलिस ने बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। पुलिस ने दो अलग-अलग स्थानों पर छापेमारी कर कुल 84 बोतलें अवैध शराब जब्त की हैं। इन मामलों में दो व्यक्तियों के खिलाफ हिमाचल प्रदेश आबकारी अधिनियम के तहत केस दर्ज किया गया है।राजगढ़ पुलिस की पहली कार्रवाई ने गांव देवठी में की। पुलिस को सूचना मिली थी कि योगेश शर्मा नामक व्यक्ति ने अपनी दुकान के साथ सटे स्टोर में अवैध शराब छिपाकर रखी है। जब शटर खोलकर तलाशी ली, तो वहां से ‘संतरा नंबर-1’ मार्का की 36 बोतलें बरामद हुईं। आरोपी योगेश शर्मा के पास इस शराब से संबंधित कोई भी वैध दस्तावेज या लाइसेंस नहीं पाया गया, जिसके बाद पुलिस ने खेप को जब्त कर लिया। इसी कड़ी में दूसरी कार्रवाई गांव चम्बीधार में हुई।

पुलिस ने भारत भूषण के चिकन शॉप और उसके साथ बने स्टोर पर छापा मारा। तलाशी के दौरान स्टोर में रखे एक लकड़ी के बॉक्स के अंदर से 48 बोतलें अवैध शराब की बरामद की गईं। आरोपी भारत भूषण पुलिस को शराब रखने का कोई भी संतोषजनक कारण या परमिट नहीं दिखा सका।एसपी सिरमौर निश्चित सिंह नेगी ने मामले की पुस्टि करते हुए बताया कि राजगढ़ पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ हिमाचल प्रदेश आबकारी अधिनियम (HP Excise Act) की धारा 39(1)a के तहत मामला दर्ज किया है। उन्होंने बताया कि क्षेत्र में नशे के अवैध कारोबार को रोकने के लिए अभियान और तेज किया जाएगा। फिलहाल दोनों मामलों की आगामी जांच जारी है और पुलिस यह पता लगाने की कोशिश कर रही है कि शराब की यह खेप कहां से लाई गई थी।

In a major success in its campaign against drug trafficking, Rajgarh police have seized a total of 84 bottles of illicit liquor in raids conducted at two different locations. Cases have been registered against two individuals under the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act in connection with these incidents. The first operation was carried out by Rajgarh police in Devthi village. Police received information that a man named Yogesh Sharma had hidden illegal liquor in a store adjacent to his shop. Upon searching the premises after opening the shutter, 36 bottles of ‘Santra No. 1’ brand liquor were recovered. The accused, Yogesh Sharma, did not possess any valid documents or license related to the liquor, following which the police seized the consignment. The second operation in this series of raids took place in Chambidhar village.

Police raided Bharat Bhushan’s chicken shop and the adjoining store. During the search, 48 bottles of illegal liquor were recovered from a wooden box kept inside the store. The accused, Bharat Bhushan, could not provide the police with any satisfactory reason or permit for possessing the liquor. SP Sirmaur, Nishant Singh Negi, confirmed the incident and stated that the Rajgarh police have registered a case against both accused under Section 39(1)a of the Himachal Pradesh Excise Act. He added that the campaign against the illegal drug trade in the area will be intensified. Further investigation into both cases is underway, and the police are trying to ascertain the source of the liquor consignment.
