उपायुक्त कार्यालय नाहन में आज राष्ट्रीय बचत सलाहकार बोर्ड के उपाध्यक्ष प्रकाश करार की अध्यक्षता में उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा के साथ लघु बचत से संबंधित विभिन्न विषयों पर बैठक आयोजित हुई, जिसमें लघु बचत योजनाओं के प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन, प्रचार-प्रसार और आम जनता तक पहुंच बढ़ाने पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। बैठक में लघु बचत योजनाओं की पहुँच ग्रामीण एवं शहरी क्षेत्रों तक बढ़ाने और एजेंटों की भूमिका को सशक्त बनाने पर विशेष बल दिया गया। उपाध्यक्ष ने लघु बचत से होने वाली आय को बढ़ाने पर जोर दिया तथा एजेंटों की समस्याओं का निराकरण सुनिश्चित करने के लिए कहा। बैठक में लघु बचत योजनाओं से जुडे एजेंटों ने योजनाओं के संचालन में आने वाली कठिनाइयों से अवगत करवाया और उनके समाधान हेतु सुझाव भी प्रस्तुत किए।

उपाध्यक्ष राष्ट्रीय बचत सलाहकार बोर्ड एवं उपायुक्त सिरमौर ने आश्वासन दिया कि एजेंटों द्वारा उठाए गए विषयों पर सहानुभूतिपूर्वक विचार कर शीघ्र कार्रवाई की जाएगी। बैठक में यह भी निर्णय लिया गया कि डाकघर और संबंधित ब्लॉकों के साथ समन्वय स्थापित कर लघु बचत योजनाओं से संबंधित नवीनतम एवं अद्यतन जानकारी संकलित की जाएगी, जिससे योजनाओं का प्रभावी क्रियान्वयन और मजबूत किया जा सके।उपायुक्त प्रियंका वर्मा ने एजेंटों की समस्याओं के समाधान तथा लघु बचत योजनाओं को बढ़ावा देने का आश्वासन दिया।बैठक में लघु बचत प्रभारी सुनंदा मोहिल, अशोक भारद्वाज सहित लघु बचत एजेंटों ने भी भाग लिया।

A meeting was held today at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Nahan, chaired by Prakash Karar, Vice Chairman of the National Savings Advisory Board, and attended by Deputy Commissioner of Sirmaur, Priyanka Verma. The meeting focused on various aspects of small savings schemes, with detailed discussions on their effective implementation, promotion, and increasing public access. Special emphasis was placed on expanding the reach of these schemes to both rural and urban areas and strengthening the role of agents. The Vice Chairman stressed the importance of increasing revenue from small savings and assured that steps would be taken to address the problems faced by the agents. Agents associated with the small savings schemes also shared the difficulties they encounter in operating the schemes and offered suggestions for their resolution.

The Vice Chairman of the National Savings Advisory Board and the Deputy Commissioner of Sirmaur assured that the issues raised by the agents would be considered sympathetically and addressed promptly. It was also decided in the meeting that the latest and updated information regarding small savings schemes would be compiled in coordination with the post offices and concerned blocks to further strengthen the effective implementation of these schemes. Deputy Commissioner Priyanka Verma assured the agents that their problems would be resolved and that efforts would be made to promote small savings schemes. Small savings in-charge Sunanda Mohil, Ashok Bhardwaj, and other small savings agents also participated in the meeting.
