पांवटा साहिब में DSR ग्रुप द्वारा समाज सेवा की दिशा में एक सराहनीय कदम उठाया गया है। गंभीर बीमारियों से जूझ रहे चार स्थानीय लोगों की सहायता के उद्देश्य से नगर पालिका खेल मैदान पांवटा साहिब में 1 से 7 जनवरी तक “पंडित शिवानंद रमोल कॉस्को क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता” का आयोजन किया जा रहा है। इस सामाजिक उद्देश्य से जुड़ी क्रिकेट प्रतियोगिता में उत्तर भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों से 45 से अधिक टीमें भाग ले रही हैं, जिससे आयोजन को विशेष पहचान मिली है। प्रतियोगिता का शुभारंभ 1 जनवरी को कांग्रेस युवा नेता एवं समाजसेवी मनीष तोमर द्वारा किया गया। रविवार को प्रतियोगिता के चौथे दिन प्रथम श्रेणी के सेवानिवृत्त अधीक्षक विनोद शर्मा और पूर्व पार्षद धनवीर कपूर ने बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शिरकत की। दोनों अतिथियों ने आयोजन की सराहना करते हुए इसे खेल और समाज सेवा का अनूठा संगम बताया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य आयोजक व DSR ग्रुप के संचालक मुकेश रमोल ने अतिथियों का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि उनका उद्देश्य खेल के माध्यम से जरूरतमंदों की मदद करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि यह प्रतियोगिता केवल खेल आयोजन नहीं, बल्कि मानवता के लिए उठाया गया एक सार्थक कदम है।

A commendable step has been taken by the DSR Group in Paonta Sahib towards social service. To help four local residents suffering from serious illnesses, the “Pandit Shivanand Ramol Cosco Cricket Tournament” is being organized at the Municipal Sports Ground in Paonta Sahib from January 1st to 7th. More than 45 teams from various states of North India are participating in this cricket tournament with a social cause, giving the event a special significance. The tournament was inaugurated on January 1st by Congress youth leader and social worker Manish Tomar. On Sunday, the fourth day of the competition, retired Class I Superintendent Vinod Sharma and former Councilor Dhanveer Kapoor graced the event as chief guests. Both guests praised the event, calling it a unique blend of sports and social service. The main organizer of the event and director of the DSR Group, Mukesh Ramol, expressed his gratitude to the guests and said that their objective is to help those in need through sports. He added that this tournament is not just a sporting event, but a meaningful step taken for humanity.
