सिरमौर जिला के रोनहाट क्षेत्र में एक दर्दनाक सड़क हादसा सामने आया है। यह हादसा CHC रोनहाट के समीप उस समय हुआ जब शिलाई की ओर से रोनहाट आ रही एक बाइक की सामने से आ रहे पिकअप वाहन से जोरदार टक्कर हो गई। टक्कर इतनी भीषण थी कि बाइक अनियंत्रित होकर सड़क से नीचे गहरी खड्ड में जा गिरी। हादसे में बाइक सवार युवक की मौके पर ही मौत हो गई। मृतक की पहचान नवीन कुमार (30 वर्ष) पुत्र आत्मा राम, निवासी गांव कुमली, तहसील पांवटा साहिब (शरली मानपुर) के रूप में हुई है। बताया जा रहा है कि युवक बाइक नंबर HP-85-AA-1234 पर सवार होकर अपने गंतव्य की ओर जा रहा था।

प्रत्यक्षदर्शियों के अनुसार CHC के समीप अचानक पिकअप और बाइक की टक्कर हो गई, जिससे युवक सीधे खड्ड में जा गिरा। घटना की सूचना मिलते ही स्थानीय लोग मौके पर पहुंचे और पुलिस को सूचित किया। पुलिस टीम ने मौके पर पहुंचकर शव को खड्ड से बाहर निकाला। मृतक को CHC रोनहाट लाया गया, जहां चिकित्सकों ने उसे मृत घोषित कर दिया। एसपी सिरमौर निश्चित सिंह नेगी ने घटना की पुस्टि करते हुए बताया कि पुलिस ने शव को कब्जे में लेकर पोस्टमार्टम की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर दी है और पुलिस ने पिकअप वाहन को कब्जे में ले लिया है और हादसे के कारणों की जांच की जा रही है। प्रारंभिक जांच में तेज रफ्तार या लापरवाही को हादसे का कारण माना जा रहा है, हालांकि वास्तविक कारण जांच के बाद ही स्पष्ट हो पाएगा। । हादसे के बाद क्षेत्र में शोक की लहर दौड़ गई है।

A tragic road accident has occurred in the Ronhat area of Sirmaur district. The accident took place near the CHC Ronhat when a motorcycle coming from Shillai towards Ronhat collided head-on with an oncoming pickup truck. The collision was so severe that the motorcycle went out of control and fell into a deep gorge beside the road. The young man riding the motorcycle died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as Naveen Kumar (30 years old), son of Atma Ram, a resident of Kumli village, Paonta Sahib tehsil (Sharli Manpur). It is reported that the young man was riding motorcycle number HP-85-AA-1234 towards his destination.

According to eyewitnesses, a pickup truck and a motorcycle collided suddenly near the Community Health Center (CHC), causing the young man to fall into a gorge. Upon receiving information about the incident, local residents rushed to the spot and informed the police. A police team arrived at the scene and recovered the body from the gorge. The deceased was taken to the CHC Ronhat, where doctors declared him dead. SP Sirmaur Nishant Singh Negi confirmed the incident, stating that the police have taken the body into custody and initiated the post-mortem process. The police have also seized the pickup truck, and an investigation into the cause of the accident is underway. Preliminary investigations suggest that speeding or negligence may have caused the accident, although the actual cause will only be clear after the investigation is complete. The accident has cast a pall of gloom over the area.
