नव वर्ष के उपलक्ष पर हाल ही में पश्मी बिराजमान हुए चालदा महासू महाराज के दर्शन के लिए हजारों श्रद्धालु पश्मी पहुंचे, जबकि पिछली शाम ही हजारों श्रद्धांओं ने पश्मी पहुंचे कर रात्रि जागरण के बाद सुबह महासू महाराज के दर्शन पाए। नए साल की सुबह से श्रद्धांलुओं की लगातार दर्शन के लिए लम्बी कतारों में महाप्रभु के दर्शन के लिए आतुर दिखे, उत्तराखंड व हिमाचल क्षेत्र से पहुंचे हजारों श्रद्धांलुओं के महासू महाराज के उधघोष से पूरा दिन महासू नगरी पश्मी गूंजती रही। इतिहास में पहली बार सिरमौर के गुमनाम गांव पश्मी में चालदा महाराज के विराजमान के बाद पश्मी गांव आस्था का केंद्र बन चूका है, पश्मी का नाम हर जगह अब चर्चाओं में रहता है ओर हर वख्त लोगों की सोशल मिडिया पर मंदिर के साथ ली गई यादगार सेल्फियों में खूब प्रचलित हो गया है।

महासू सिमिति पश्मी सदस्य प्रकाश चौहान ने बताया की पिछली शाम को ही लगभग पांच हजार श्रद्धांलू पश्मी पहुंच चुके थे, जिन्होंने सुबह चालदा महाराज के दर्शन के किए, सुबह से करीब दस हजार श्रद्धांलू छत्रधार के दरबार में दस हजार के करीब श्रद्धांलुओं ने शीश नवाया है। उन्होंने बताया कि पश्मी में महारज के दर्शन के लिए लोग पहुंचते है, जिसकी व्यवस्था के लिए गांव के बच्चे, महिला सहित, बाहर से पहुंचे श्रद्धांलू भी सेवा जुटे हुए है, गाड़ियों की पार्किंग, श्रद्धांलुओं को भोजन की व्यवस्था, मंदिर परिसर में रात्रि ठहराव की व्यवस्था में दिन रात सेवा में जुटे है। उन्होंने बताया कि श्रद्धांलुओं की बढ़ती संख्या के चलते पानी की सप्लाई मंदिर के लिए जोड़ी गई है, पानी की आपूर्ति के आभाव से गांव पहुंच रहे श्रद्धांलुओं को नहाने व शौच के लिए पानी की समस्या से जूझ रहा है, साथ. ही शिलाई बाजार से हॉस्पिटल पता ट्रैफिक जाम भी समस्या बनती जा रही है, जिस के निदान के लिए महासू समिति पश्मी हॉस्पिटल से वन वे रास्ते की मरमत कर जल्दी से गाड़ियों के लिए खोल दे।

The previous evening, thousands of devotees had already arrived in Pashmi, spending the night in vigil before receiving darshan (blessings) from Mahasu Maharaj in the morning. From the morning of the new year, long queues of devotees eager to see the deity were visible. The entire day, the town of Pashmi resonated with the chants of “Mahasu Maharaj ki Jai” (Victory to Mahasu Maharaj) from thousands of devotees who had come from Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. For the first time in history, following the installation of Chalda Maharaj in the previously unknown village of Pashmi in Sirmaur, the village has become a center of faith. Pashmi is now a topic of discussion everywhere, and pictures of people taking selfies with the temple are constantly circulating on social media.

Prakash Chauhan, a member of the Mahasu Committee Pashmi, said that approximately five thousand devotees had already arrived in Pashmi the previous evening and had darshan (sight of the deity) of Chalda Maharaj in the morning. He added that around ten thousand devotees had bowed their heads at the shrine of Chalda Maharaj since morning. He explained that people come to Pashmi for darshan of the deity, and the villagers, including children and women, as well as devotees from outside the village, are engaged in providing services. They are working day and night to manage vehicle parking, provide food for the devotees, and arrange overnight accommodation in the temple complex. He mentioned that due to the increasing number of devotees, a water supply line has been connected to the temple. However, the lack of adequate water supply is causing problems for devotees arriving in the village, particularly for bathing and sanitation. He also noted that traffic congestion from the Shilayi market to the hospital is becoming a major issue, and he urged the Mahasu Committee Pashmi to repair the one-way road from the hospital and open it to traffic as soon as possible to alleviate the problem.
