शिमला की बिटिया पर्ल बेहल बनीं भारतीय वायु सेना में फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर..

संजौली निवासी गोपेश बेहल एवं माता प्रीति बेहल की इकलौती पुत्री पर्ल बेहल का चयन भारतीय वायु सेना में फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर पद के लिए हुआ है। पर्ल की इस उपलब्धि से न केवल उनके माता-पिता बल्कि पूरे शिमला का नाम रोशन हुआ है। गोपेश बेहल ने एमसी से एसडीओ पद पर सेवाएं देने के बाद स्वैच्छिक सेवानिवृत्ति (VRS) ली थी, जबकि माता प्रीति बेहल वर्तमान में डीएवी स्कूल, लक्कड़ बाजार, शिमला में सीनियर असिस्टेंट के पद पर कार्यरत हैं। पर्ल बेहल ने अपनी प्रारंभिक शिक्षा कॉन्वेंट ऑफ जीसस एंड मैरी स्कूल, शिमला से प्राप्त की तथा +2 की पढ़ाई जेसीबी पब्लिक स्कूल, न्यू शिमला से पूरी की।

इसके पश्चात उन्होंने एमआईटी मणिपाल से एरोनॉटिकल इंजीनियरिंग में स्नातक किया। बचपन से ही फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर बनने का सपना देखने वाली पर्ल ने कठिन परिश्रम और दृढ़ संकल्प के बल पर यह मुकाम हासिल किया। आज वह तेलंगाना के सिकंदराबाद में भारतीय वायु सेना के लिए फ्लाइंग ऑफिसर का प्रशिक्षण प्राप्त कर रही हैं। यद्यपि आज बेटियां हर क्षेत्र में सफलता के नए कीर्तिमान स्थापित कर रही हैं, लेकिन इकलौती बेटी होकर भी पर्ल ने खुद को इतना मजबूत बनाया कि वह देश की सेवा के लिए आसमान की ऊंचाइयों को छूने जा रही हैं।

Pearl Behal, the only daughter of Gopesh Behal and Preeti Behal, residents of Sanjauli, has been selected for the post of Flying Officer in the Indian Air Force. Pearl’s achievement has brought pride not only to her parents but to the entire city of Shimla. Gopesh Behal took voluntary retirement after serving as an SDO (Sub-Divisional Officer) in the Municipal Corporation, while her mother, Preeti Behal, is currently working as a Senior Assistant at DAV School, Lakkar Bazaar, Shimla. Pearl Behal received her early education from Convent of Jesus and Mary School, Shimla, and completed her +2 studies from JCB Public School, New Shimla.

Following this, she graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from MIT Manipal. Pearl, who had dreamt of becoming a Flying Officer since childhood, achieved this goal through hard work and determination. Today, she is undergoing training as a Flying Officer for the Indian Air Force in Secunderabad, Telangana. Although daughters are setting new benchmarks of success in every field today, Pearl, despite being an only child, has made herself so strong that she is now soaring to great heights to serve the nation.
