नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत SIU टीम ने पांवटा साहिब में बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए भुक्की की खेप बरामद की है। बीती रात को SIU टीम ने बस स्टैंड के समीप एक टायर पंचर की दुकान पर दबिश दी, जहां दुकान के अंदर से भारी मात्रा में भुक्की बरामद की गई। पुलिस के अनुसार दुकान मालिक इमरान खान पुत्र अब्दुल हमीद, निवासी गांव ढकरानी, डाकघर व तहसील विकासनगर, जिला देहरादून (उम्र लगभग 30 वर्ष) के कब्जे से कुल 01 किलो 426 ग्राम भुक्की बरामद की गई है।इस संबंध में आरोपी के विरुद्ध एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है। आरोपी को आज माननीय न्यायालय में पेश किया जाएगा। पुलिस मामले की गहन जांच में जुटी हुई है।

As part of the ongoing campaign against drug trafficking, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) team conducted a major operation in Paonta Sahib and seized a large quantity of poppy husk. Last night, the SIU team raided a tire repair shop near the bus stand, where a significant amount of poppy husk was recovered from inside the shop. According to the police, a total of 1 kg 426 grams of poppy husk was recovered from the possession of the shop owner, Imran Khan, son of Abdul Hamid, a resident of Dhakrani village, Vikas Nagar Post Office and Tehsil, Dehradun district (approximately 30 years old). A case has been registered against the accused under the NDPS Act. The accused will be produced before the honorable court today. The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the matter.
