जिला सिरमौर के पांवटा साहिब के द स्कॉलर होम स्कूल खेल मैदान मे रगबी एसोसिएशन आफ सिरमौर के तत्वाहान मे सम्पन्न हुई। जिसमें समापन समारोह के मुख्य अतिथि समाजसेवी श्री पवन चौधरी ने विजेता उपविजेता खिलाडीयों को ट्रॉफी व मैडल देकर सम्मानित किया। वही जिला स्तरीय प्रतियोगिता मे जिला स्तर से एक दर्जन टीमों ने सब जूनियर रगबी प्रतियोगिता मे अपनी प्रतिभा का प्रदर्शन किया। वही लड़को के वर्ग मे विजेता द स्कॉलर होम रहा व कोटडी व्यास उपविजेता द स्कॉलर होम तृतीय विद्यापीठ स्कूल रहा। वही लड़कियों के वर्ग मे विजेता स्कॉलर होम रहा व के बी क्लब कोटडी व्यास व तीसरे स्थान पर वेदव्यास क्लब कोटडी व्यास रहा।

वही पवन चौधरी ने अपने सुबोधन मे कहा कि हमें खुशी है कि खेलो के क्षेत्र में हमारा पांवटा विकासखंड व सिरमौर जिला अब हर खेल मे आगे बढ़ रहा है। खेलने से जहाँ हमारी फिटनेस बनी रहती है वही युवा नशे से भी बचा रहता है। वही सचिव सुधीर कुमार नवप्रीत व सुमित ने मुख्य अतिथि को मोमेंटो (स्मृति चिन्ह) देकर सम्मानित किया। साथ में स्पेशल गेस्ट समाज सेवी सुखविंदर चौधरी व हर्ष चौधरी को भी रगबी एसोसिएशन सिरमौर ने सम्मानित किया। टीम कोच, मैनेजर, क़्वालिफाई रेफ्रीस कोएसोसिएशन ने सम्मानित किया। वही टेक्निकल कमेटी सदस्य धर्मेंद्र चौधरी व अन्य ने बताया कि सलेक्टड खिलाडी इसी महीने 27 दिसंबर को स्टेट चैंपियन शिप मे जिला सिरमौर का प्रतिनिधीत्व करेंगे। इस उपलक्ष्य पर रगबी संगठन के सदस्य नवप्रीत, सुमित, सुधीर शर्मा, रूबी, धर्मेंद्र चौधरी, चन्दरमोहन शर्मा व खिलाडी उपस्थित हुए।

The rugby tournament, organized by the Rugby Association of Sirmaur, was held at the sports ground of The Scholar Home School in Paonta Sahib, Sirmaur district. The closing ceremony was graced by social worker Mr. Pawan Chaudhary, who presented trophies and medals to the winning and runner-up teams. A dozen teams from across the district participated in the sub-junior rugby competition, showcasing their talent. In the boys’ category, The Scholar Home School emerged as the winner, while Kotdi Vyas secured the runner-up position, and Vidya Peeth School finished third. In the girls’ category, The Scholar Home School was the winner, with KB Club Kotdi Vyas and Ved Vyas Club Kotdi Vyas securing the second and third positions respectively.

Pawan Chaudhary, in his address, said that he was happy that Paonta Development Block and Sirmaur district are now progressing in every sport. Playing sports keeps us fit and also keeps the youth away from drugs. Secretary Sudhir Kumar, Navpreet, and Sumit honored the chief guest with a memento. Special guests, social workers Sukhwinder Chaudhary and Harsh Chaudhary, were also honored by the Sirmaur Rugby Association. The association also honored the team coach, manager, and qualified referees. Technical committee member Dharmendra Chaudhary and others informed that the selected players will represent Sirmaur district in the State Championship on December 27th of this month. Members of the Rugby organization, including Navpreet, Sumit, Sudhir Sharma, Ruby, Dharmendra Chaudhary, and Chandermohan Sharma, along with the players, were present on this occasion.
