रोटरी क्लब नाहन ने महिला सशक्तिकरण और शिक्षा की दिशा में एक और महत्वपूर्ण कदम उठाते हुए एक गरीब छात्रा के भविष्य को संवारने का बीड़ा उठाया है। क्लब के प्रयासों से स्कोटियाबैंक कनाडा की कस्टमर एक्सपीरियंस लीड रम्मी बाली ने नाहन की एक निर्धन छात्रा की नर्सिंग पढ़ाई के लिए वित्तीय सहायता प्रदान की है। जानकारी के अनुसार, रोटरी क्लब नाहन के अध्यक्ष मनीश जैन ने एक एकल अभिभावक परिवार की छात्रा की आर्थिक तंगी का मामला रम्मी बाली के समक्ष रखा था, जो नाहन के एक कॉलेज में जीएनएम नर्सिंग कर रही है।
छात्रा की स्थिति और उसकी पढ़ने की इच्छा को देखते हुए रम्मी बाली ने स्वयं नाहन पहुँचकर छात्रा से मुलाकात की और कॉलेज का निरीक्षण किया। रम्मी बाली ने छात्रा के तीन साल के पाठ्यक्रम की संपूर्ण फीस, जो ₹95,250 प्रति वर्ष है, प्रायोजित करने की घोषणा की। उन्होंने मौके पर ही प्रथम वर्ष की फीस का चेक प्रदान कर छात्रा की शिक्षा का मार्ग प्रशस्त किया। रोटरी क्लब नाहन के सदस्यों ने इस मानवीय पहल की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि समाज के वंचित वर्गों की मदद करना ही क्लब का मुख्य उद्देश्य है। इस अवसर पर क्लब के अन्य पदाधिकारी और गणमान्य व्यक्ति भी उपस्थित रहे।

The Rotary Club of Nahan has taken another significant step towards women’s empowerment and education by pledging to support the future of a deserving student. Through the club’s efforts, Rummi Bali, Customer Experience Lead at Scotiabank Canada, has provided financial assistance for the nursing education of an underprivileged student from Nahan. According to reports, Rotary Club of Nahan President Manish Jain brought the case of the student, who comes from a single-parent family and is facing financial difficulties while pursuing her GNM nursing course at a college in Nahan, to the attention of Rummi Bali.
Considering the student’s circumstances and her desire to study, Rummy Bali personally traveled to Nahan to meet with the student and inspect the college. Rummy Bali announced that he would sponsor the student’s entire three-year course fee, which is ₹95,250 per year. He presented a check for the first year’s fees on the spot, thus paving the way for the student’s education. Members of the Rotary Club of Nahan appreciated this humanitarian gesture, stating that helping the underprivileged sections of society is the club’s primary objective. Other club officials and dignitaries were also present on the occasion.
