पांवटा साहिब क्षेत्र में समाज सेवा के लिए पहचाने जाने वाले प्रदीप चौहान एक बार फिर मानवता की मिसाल बने हैं। अपने पिता के 80 वर्ष पूर्ण होने के अवसर पर उन्होंने अपनी पंचायत के स्कूल मे 111 कन्याओं को कॉपी और पेंसिल वितरित कर समाज को एक सकारात्मक संदेश दिया।गौरतलब है कि इससे पूर्व भी प्रदीप चौहान ने अपनी बेटी के जन्मदिन पर स्कूल के छात्र-छात्राओं को पेन और पेंसिल वितरित कर शिक्षा को बढ़ावा देने का कार्य किया था। उनका मानना है कि खुशियों के अवसर समाज के कमजोर वर्ग के साथ साझा करने से ही सार्थक होते हैं।

प्रदीप चौहान न केवल शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में सहयोग करते रहे हैं, बल्कि वे हमेशा गरीब, मजदूर और श्रमिक वर्ग के साथ मजबूती से खड़े नजर आए हैं। वे लगातार ट्रैक्टर चालकों की आवाज बनते रहे हैं और उद्योगों में कार्यरत मजदूरों के हक की लड़ाई लड़ते आए हैं। हाल ही में एक निजी फैक्ट्री द्वारा महिलाओं को अचानक काम से बाहर करने के मामले में भी प्रदीप चौहान ने पीड़ित महिलाओं की आवाज बनते हुए उन्हें एसडीएम पांवटा साहिब तक पहुंचाया, जिससे प्रशासन के समक्ष उनकी समस्याएं रखी जा सकें। समाज के हर वर्ग के लिए संघर्ष करने वाले प्रदीप चौहान आज क्षेत्र में समर्पित समाज सेवक के रूप में एक प्रेरणास्रोत बन चुके हैं।
