सटीकता, एकाग्रता और मानसिक दृढ़ता की परख के उद्देश्य से राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई में एनएसएस इकाई एक और दो द्वारा तीरंदाजी प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का संचालन प्राचार्य डॉ. जे. आर. कश्यप के मार्गदर्शन तथा कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों रंजना चौहान और यशपाल शर्मा के नेतृत्व में किया गया। महाविद्यालय परिसर में आयोजित इस प्रतियोगिता में विद्यार्थियों से लेकर शिक्षकों तक सभी ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया। छुपी प्रतिभाओं को मंच प्रदान करने वाली इस प्रतियोगिता में प्रत्येक प्रतिभागी को लक्ष्य भेदने के लिए पांच अवसर दिए गए। प्रतिभागियों ने धनुष-बाण के साथ अपने कौशल का बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन किया।

लड़कों की श्रेणी में बीए द्वितीय वर्ष के छात्र विशाल भारद्वाज ने 8 अंक प्राप्त कर पहला स्थान हासिल किया, जबकि रघुवीर दूसरे स्थान पर रहे। लड़कियों की श्रेणी में बीए तृतीय वर्ष की नेहा चौहान ने 7 अंक के साथ प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया, वहीं ज्योतिका उपविजेता बनीं। शिक्षकों में प्रो. अनुज शर्मा, प्रो. विद्या वर्मा, प्रो. रविंद्र शर्मा, प्रो. रीना शर्मा, प्रो. रंजना चौहान, प्रो. अनिल कुमार, प्रो. संसार चंद, प्रो. रामलाल ठाकुर और प्रो. यशपाल शर्मा ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया और सभी प्रतिभागियों का मनोबल बढ़ाया।

Archery competition held at Government College Shilayi: Vishal and Neha emerge as champions.

An archery competition was organized by NSS Units One and Two at Government College Shillai with the aim of testing accuracy, concentration, and mental fortitude. The event was conducted under the guidance of Principal Dr. J.R. Kashyap and led by program officers Ranjana Chauhan and Yashpal Sharma. Students and teachers alike participated enthusiastically in the competition, which was held on the college campus. This competition, which provided a platform for showcasing hidden talents, gave each participant five opportunities to hit the target. The participants displayed their skills with the bow and arrow with great finesse.

In the boys’ category, Vishal Bhardwaj, a second-year BA student, secured the first position with 8 points, while Raghuveer came in second. In the girls’ category, Neha Chauhan, a third-year BA student, won first place with 7 points, and Jyotika was the runner-up. Among the faculty members, Prof. Anuj Sharma, Prof. Vidya Verma, Prof. Ravindra Sharma, Prof. Reena Sharma, Prof. Ranjana Chauhan, Prof. Anil Kumar, Prof. Sansar Chand, Prof. Ramlal Thakur, and Prof. Yashpal Sharma participated enthusiastically and encouraged all the participants.
