जिला सिरमौर पुलिस ने उदघोषित अपराधियों (Proclaimed Offenders) के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे विशेष अभियान के तहत एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। पुलिस की विशेष टीम ने आज एक उदघोषित अपराधी को हरियाणा के यमुनानगर से गिरफ्तार कर लिया। गिरफ्तार किए गए अपराधी की पहचान साजिद अली पुत्र श्री रैस अली के रूप में हुई है, जो मकान नं0 921/3, हरवंश भिरा, नजदीक गुरुद्वारा, थाना फरकपुर, जिला यमुनानगर, हरियाणा का निवासी है। साजिद अली के खिलाफ पुलिस थाना रेणुका जी में वर्ष 2015 में अभियोग संख्या 35/15 दर्ज किया गया था। यह मामला भारतीय दण्ड संहिता (IPC) की धारा 353, 332, 34 और वन्य जीव संरक्षण अधिनियम (Wild Life Act) की धारा 38-J, 51 के तहत दर्ज किया गया था।

साजिद अली उक्त अभियोग की सुनवाई के दौरान माननीय अदालत में लगातार पेश नहीं हो रहा था। इसी कारण माननीय अदालत ने उसे उदघोषित अपराधी घोषित कर दिया था। उद्घोषित अपराधियों की धरपकड़ के लिए बनाई गई जिला सिरमौर पुलिस की टीम लगातार साजिद अली की तलाश में थी। पुलिस टीम ने तकनीकी और गोपनीय सूचनाओं के आधार पर आज यमुनानगर में छापेमारी की और अपराधी साजिद अली को सफलतापूर्वक पकड़ लिया। सिरमौर के एसपी निश्चित सिंह नेगी ने स्पष्ट किया है कि उदघोषित अपराधियों के खिलाफ यह अभियान आगे भी जारी रहेगा, ताकि न्याय प्रक्रिया से भागने वाले सभी दोषियों को जल्द से जल्द कानून के शिकंजे में लाया जा सके।

The Sirmour district police have achieved a major success under a special campaign launched against proclaimed offenders. A special police team today arrested a proclaimed offender from Yamunanagar in Haryana. The arrested offender has been identified as Sajid Ali, son of Rais Ali, a resident of House No. 921/3, Harvansh Bhira, near Gurudwara, Farkpur Police Station, Yamunanagar district, Haryana. A case (FIR No. 35/15) was registered against Sajid Ali at Renuka Ji Police Station in 2015. This case was registered under Sections 353, 332, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Sections 38-J and 51 of the Wildlife Protection Act.

Sajid Ali was consistently absent from court during the hearing of the aforementioned case. For this reason, the honorable court declared him a proclaimed offender. The Sirmaur district police team, formed to apprehend proclaimed offenders, was continuously searching for Sajid Ali. Based on technical and confidential information, the police team raided Yamunanagar today and successfully apprehended the offender, Sajid Ali. Sirmaur Superintendent of Police, Nishant Singh Negi, clarified that this campaign against proclaimed offenders will continue so that all those who evade the judicial process can be brought to justice as soon as possible.
