राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (NSS) इकाई एक और दो द्वारा आज एक दिवसीय शिविर का आयोजन किया गया। यह शिविर महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ.जे.आर.कश्यप के मार्गदर्शन तथा कार्यक्रम अधिकारियों रंजना चौहान और यशपाल शर्मा के नेतृत्व में संपन्न हुआ। शिविर में कुल 60 स्वयंसेवकों ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लेते हुए महाविद्यालय परिसर के सौंदर्यीकरण कार्य को सफल बनाया। स्वयंसेवकों ने एक लंबी कतार बनाकर निर्धारित स्थान से उत्तम किस्म की मिट्टी बाल्टियों और परातियों के माध्यम से फूल-पौधों के लिए बनी क्यारियों तक पहुंचाई। कॉलेज कैंपस को हरा-भरा और आकर्षक बनाने के उद्देश्य से किए गए इस श्रमदान को प्रतिभागियों ने पूरी निष्ठा के साथ निभाया। अंतर्राष्ट्रीय स्वयंसेवी दिवस से एक दिन पूर्व आयोजित इस शिविर ने सेवा और सामाजिक योगदान की भावना को और मजबूत किया। शिविर के अंत में स्वयंसेवकों को रिफ्रेशमेंट के रूप में समोसे और जलेबियाँ वितरित की गईं।

A one-day camp was organized today by the National Service Scheme (NSS) Units One and Two of Government College Shillai. The camp was conducted under the guidance of the college principal, Dr. J.R. Kashyap, and under the leadership of program officers Ranjana Chauhan and Yashpal Sharma. A total of 60 volunteers actively participated in the camp, successfully contributing to the beautification of the college campus. The volunteers formed a long chain and transported high-quality soil from a designated location to the flowerbeds using buckets and trays. This community service, aimed at making the college campus green and attractive, was carried out with complete dedication by the participants. Held one day before International Volunteer Day, this camp further strengthened the spirit of service and social contribution. At the end of the camp, the volunteers were given samosas and jalebis as refreshments.
