SPECIAL DETECTION TEAM, SUB DIVISION PAONTA SAHIB ने नशे के खिलाफ चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत एक बड़ी कार्रवाई को अंजाम देते हुए भारी मात्रा में नशीले कैप्सूल और गोलियां बरामद की हैं। टीम ने बुधवार देर रात बहराल चौक पोस्ट से आगे मोड़ पर नाकाबंदी के दौरान हरियाणा से आ रही एक कार को रोककर यह सफलता हासिल की। पुलिस के अनुसार, टीम ने संदिग्ध कार HR51BS-9267 (Datsun Go, सलेटी रंग) को जांच के लिए रोका। तलाशी के दौरान कार की पीछे सीट के नीचे रखे एक नीले बैग से कुल 4560 PROXIOHM-SPAS नशीले कैप्सूल तथा 3000 ALPRAZOLAM नशीली गोलियां बरामद की गईं।

कार में सवार दोनों व्यक्तियों की पहचान अर्जुन (35) पुत्र रामअवतार, निवासी शिवपुरी कॉलोनी, यमुनानगर, तथा राहुल कपूर (35) पुत्र विनोद कपूर, निवासी मॉडल कॉलोनी, यमुनानगर के रूप में हुई है। कार चालक अर्जुन बताया जा रहा है। पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के विरुद्ध NDPS एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर उन्हें गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। आरोपियों को आज माननीय न्यायालय में पेश किया जाएगा, जहाँ पुलिस हिरासत रिमांड की मांग की जाएगी। पुलिस का कहना है कि नशे के खिलाफ यह अभियान आगे भी और सख्ती के साथ जारी रहेगा।

The Special Detection Team of Paonta Sahib Sub-Division, as part of an ongoing campaign against drug trafficking, has seized a large quantity of narcotic capsules and tablets. The team achieved this success late Wednesday night by stopping a car coming from Haryana at a checkpoint beyond Bahral Chowk. According to the police, the team stopped the suspected car, HR51BS-9267 (Datsun Go, grey color), for inspection. During the search, a total of 4560 PROXIOHM-SPAS narcotic capsules and 3000 ALPRAZOLAM narcotic tablets were recovered from a blue bag kept under the rear seat of the car.

The two men in the car have been identified as Arjun (35), son of Ramavatar, a resident of Shivpuri Colony, Yamunanagar, and Rahul Kapoor (35), son of Vinod Kapoor, a resident of Model Colony, Yamunanagar. Arjun is reported to be the driver of the car. The police have registered a case against both accused under the NDPS Act and arrested them. The accused will be produced before the honorable court today, where the police will seek their remand in custody. The police stated that this campaign against drugs will continue with even greater strictness.
