जिला सिरमौर के मजदूर नेता एवं कांग्रेस के युवा नेता प्रदीप चौहान ने अपनी बेटी के जन्मदिन पर एक प्रेरणादायक उदाहरण पेश किया है। पिछले तीन वर्षों से टांग की गंभीर समस्या से जूझ रहे शौकत अली को उन्होंने 11 हजार रुपए की आर्थिक सहायता प्रदान की, ताकि वह अपने इलाज को आगे बढ़ा सकें। प्रदीप चौहान ने कहा कि “एक बेटी के जन्मदिन पर इससे बड़ा उपहार और क्या हो सकता है कि किसी मजबूर और जरूरतमंद की मदद की जाए।” उन्होंने समाज के सक्षम लोगों से भी अपील की कि शौकत की यथासंभव सहायता कर मानवीयता का परिचय दें। उल्लेखनीय है कि इससे पूर्व भी प्रदीप चौहान अपने बेटे के जन्मदिन पर सालवाला स्कूल के विद्यार्थियों को पेन, कॉपी और स्वेटर वितरित कर सामाजिक योगदान दे चुके हैं। इसके अलावा भी वे समय-समय पर समाजिक उत्थान और मानव सेवा के लिए विभिन्न पहल करते रहते हैं, जो समाज में सकारात्मक संदेश देती हैं।

Pradeep Chauhan, a labor leader and youth leader of the Congress party from Sirmaur district, has set an inspiring example on his daughter’s birthday. He provided financial assistance of Rs. 11,000 to Shaukat Ali, who has been suffering from a serious leg problem for the past three years, so that he can continue his treatment. Pradeep Chauhan said, “What could be a greater gift on a daughter’s birthday than to help someone who is helpless and in need?” He also appealed to the affluent members of society to extend whatever help they can to Shaukat and demonstrate their humanity. It is noteworthy that Pradeep Chauhan had previously made a social contribution on his son’s birthday by distributing pens, notebooks, and sweaters to the students of Salwala School.
