उपमंडल पांवटा साहिब के तहत पुलिस थाना माजरा ने अवैध शराब निर्माण पर बड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए खारा क्षेत्र के जंगलों में चल रहे कच्ची शराब के कारोबार का भांडाफोड़ किया है। पुलिस थाना माजरा को अवैध शराब बनाने की गुप्त सूचना मिली थी, जिसके बाद थाना प्रभारी के नेतृत्व में एक टीम मौके पर भेजी गई। पुलिस ने 2600 लीटर कच्ची शराब और 4 भट्टियां नष्ट कर दी।

Taking major action against illegal liquor manufacturing, police have busted an illicit alcohol operation running in the forests of the Khara area. The Majra police station received a tip-off about the illegal liquor production, after which a team led by the station house officer was sent to the location. Police destroyed 2600 liters of illicit liquor and four stills.
