गुरु की नगरी पांवटा साहिब में रविवार को 2nd सिरमौर हिल्स विंटर क्रिकेट चैंपियनशिप का भव्य आगाज़ हुआ। पहले मैच का शुभारंभ युवा नेता अरिकेश जंग ने किया, जबकि दूसरे मुकाबले की शुरुआत DSR ग्रुप के मालिक मुकेश रमोल द्वारा की गई। क्लब की ओर से मुख्य अतिथियों का गर्मजोशी से स्वागत किया गया। क्लब अध्यक्ष कपिल शर्मा ने बताया कि इस प्रतिष्ठित प्रतियोगिता में कुल 60 टीमें भाग ले रही हैं, जिनमें हिमाचल प्रदेश के साथ-साथ हरियाणा, उत्तराखंड और पंजाब की टीमें भी शामिल हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि इस टूर्नामेंट की शुरुआत बीते वर्ष युवाओं को नशे से दूर रखने और उन्हें खेलों की ओर प्रोत्साहित करने के उद्देश्य से की गई थी। अब इसका दूसरा संस्करण और अधिक भव्य रूप में आयोजित किया जा रहा है।

प्रतियोगिता में विजेता टीम को 2 लाख रुपए, जबकि उपविजेता को 1 लाख रुपए एवं ट्रॉफी प्रदान की जाएगी। आयोजन के दौरान मुख्य अतिथियों को शॉल, टॉप और स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया। इस अवसर पर मुकेश रमोल ने क्लब के सदस्यों को बधाई देते हुए सभी खिलाड़ियों से नशे से दूर रहने और खेल को खेल की भावना से खेलने का संदेश दिया। पहले दिन दो मुकाबले खेले गए। जिसमें पहला मुकाबला ब्लैक पैंथर और नवादा के बीच खेला गया। तो वही दूसरा बेहतरीन मुकाबला पाब मानल और भाटावाली के बीच खेला गया। पहला मैच ब्लैक पैंथर चियोग की टीम ने जीता, दूसरा मैच भाटावाली टीम ने जीता। कार्यक्रम में युवा नेता प्रदीप चौहान, DSR ग्रुप से राजेश ठाकुर, दिनेश ठाकुर, दलीप शर्मा, सुमेर छींटा सहित क्लब के सभी सदस्य एवं खिलाड़ी उपस्थित रहे।

The 2nd Sirmaur Hills Winter Cricket Championship grandly commenced on Sunday in Paonta Sahib, the city of the Guru. The first match was inaugurated by youth leader Arikesh Jang, while the second match was started by Mukesh Ramol, owner of the DSR Group. The chief guests were warmly welcomed by the club. Club president Kapil Sharma informed that a total of 60 teams are participating in this prestigious competition, including teams from Himachal Pradesh, as well as Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Punjab. He further added that this tournament was started last year with the aim of keeping the youth away from drugs and encouraging them towards sports. Now, its second edition is being organized on an even grander scale.

The winning team in the competition will be awarded Rs. 2 lakh, while the runner-up will receive Rs. 1 lakh and a trophy. During the event, the chief guests were honored with shawls, tops, and mementos. On this occasion, Mukesh Ramol congratulated the club members and urged all the players to stay away from drugs and play the game in the true spirit of sportsmanship. Two matches were played on the first day. The first match was played between Black Panther and Nawada, while the second exciting match was played between Pab Manal and Bhatawali. The Black Panther Chiog team won the first match, and the Bhatawali team won the second match. Youth leader Pradeep Chauhan, Rajesh Thakur, Dinesh Thakur, Dalip Sharma, Sumer Chhinta from the DSR Group, along with all the club members and players, were present at the event.
