विश्व एड्स दिवस पर पांवटा कॉलेज में जागरूकता सप्ताह की शुरुआत…

महाविद्यालय पांवटा साहिब में विश्व एड्स दिवस के अवसर पर जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ नाको और स्टेट एड्स कंट्रोल संगठन (SACS) के निर्देशों एवं सहयोग से किया गया। यह जागरूकता सप्ताह एक सप्ताह तक चलेगा, जिसके अंतर्गत क्विज, पोस्टर मेकिंग, स्लोगन राइटिंग और नाट्य प्रस्तुति जैसी विभिन्न गतिविधियाँ आयोजित की जाएँगी। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. जगदीश चौहान ने की। कार्यक्रम का मुख्य आकर्षण आयोजित पैनल डिस्कशन रहा, जिसमें पीयर एजुकेटर अनीश रावत ने छात्रों को HIV/एड्स के लक्षण, रोकथाम, बचाव और आधुनिक उपचार संबंधी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारी प्रदान की। महाविद्यालय के नोडल अधिकारी डॉ. जसवंत सिंह सैनी ने इस वर्ष की थीम “व्यवधान पर विजय, प्रतिक्रिया में परिवर्तन” पर विस्तृत व्याख्यान देते हुए एड्स उन्मूलन से जुड़ी वित्तीय चुनौतियों, भेदभावपूर्ण नीतियों और स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की सीमाओं पर प्रकाश डाला।

उन्होंने 2030 तक एड्स मुक्त विश्व के लक्ष्य को हासिल करने के लिए आधुनिक उपकरणों, नवाचार और सामूहिक जिम्मेदारी की आवश्यकता पर जोर दिया। इस अवसर पर रेड रिबन क्लब, एनडीएलआई क्लब और एंटी-ड्रग सेल के सदस्य मौजूद रहे। कार्यक्रम के कन्वीनर मंदीप सिंह और डॉ. सुशील कुमार ने भी विद्यार्थियों को जागरूक रहने और समाज में सकारात्मक संदेश फैलाने का आग्रह किया। कार्यक्रम का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवाओं में एचआईवी/एड्स के प्रति जागरूकता बढ़ाना और समाज को स्वस्थ एवं सुरक्षित बनाने की दिशा में प्रभावी कदम उठाना रहा।

Awareness week begins at Paonta College on World AIDS Day…

An awareness program was launched at Paonta Sahib College on the occasion of World AIDS Day, under the guidance and collaboration of NACO and the State AIDS Control Society (SACS). This awareness week will last for one week, during which various activities such as quizzes, poster making, slogan writing, and theatrical performances will be organized. The program was presided over by the college principal, Dr. Jagdish Chauhan. The main highlight of the program was a panel discussion, in which peer educator Anish Rawat provided students with important information regarding the symptoms, prevention, protection, and modern treatment of HIV/AIDS. The college’s nodal officer, Dr. Jaswant Singh Saini, delivered a detailed lecture on this year’s theme, “Overcoming the Obstacles, Changing the Response,” highlighting the financial challenges, discriminatory policies, and limitations of healthcare services associated with AIDS eradication.

They emphasized the need for modern tools, innovation, and collective responsibility to achieve the goal of an AIDS-free world by 2030. Members of the Red Ribbon Club, NDLIC Club, and Anti-Drug Cell were present on the occasion. The program conveners, Mandeep Singh and Dr. Sushil Kumar, also urged the students to remain vigilant and spread a positive message in society. The main objective of the program was to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS among young people and take effective steps towards creating a healthy and safe society.
