हिमाचल प्रदेश स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड (HPBOSE) ने इस वर्ष 10वीं और 12वीं कक्षा की वार्षिक परीक्षाओं के समय में महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव किया है। बोर्ड ने घोषणा की है कि मार्च 2025 में शुरू होने वाली परीक्षाएं अब सुबह 8:45 बजे के बजाय सुबह 9:45 बजे शुरू होंगी। इस निर्णय का सीधा उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों को सर्दियों के मौसम में होने वाली कठिनाइयों से राहत प्रदान करना है। अब तक बोर्ड परीक्षाएं सुबह 8:45 बजे से दोपहर 12:00 बजे तक आयोजित होती थीं, लेकिन इस बार परीक्षा का समय सुबह 9:45 बजे से दोपहर 1:00 बजे तक निर्धारित किया गया है। शिक्षा बोर्ड के अनुसार, कई पर्वतीय इलाकों में कड़ाके की ठंड, देरी से सूर्योदय और बर्फबारी के चलते विद्यार्थियों को समय पर परीक्षा केंद्र पहुंचने में काफी परेशानी होती थी। बोर्ड प्रबंधन के अनुसार, प्रदेश के अनेक क्षेत्रों में मार्च माह में भी सर्दी का प्रभाव बना रहता है। पहाड़ी इलाकों में सुबह का तापमान काफी कम रहता है, जिससे विद्यार्थियों के लिए सुबह 9 बजे तक स्कूल या परीक्षा केंद्र पहुंचना चुनौतीपूर्ण होता है। इस समस्या को ध्यान में रखते हुए बोर्ड ने यह फैसला लिया है, ताकि किसी भी विद्यार्थी को समय पर केंद्र तक पहुंचने में बाधा न आए।

The board has announced that the exams, scheduled to begin in March 2025, will now start at 9:45 AM instead of 8:45 AM. The primary objective of this decision is to provide relief to students facing difficulties due to the harsh winter weather. Until now, the board examinations were held from 8:45 AM to 12:00 PM, but this time the exam timings have been set from 9:45 AM to 1:00 PM. According to the education board, students in many hilly areas faced considerable difficulties reaching the examination centers on time due to the severe cold, late sunrise, and snowfall. The board management stated that the effects of winter persist in many parts of the state even in March. The morning temperatures in the hilly regions remain very low, making it challenging for students to reach school or the examination center by 9 AM. Taking this problem into consideration, the board has taken this decision to ensure that no student faces any obstacle in reaching the center on time.
