राजकीय महाविद्यालय पांवटा साहिब में इलेक्टोरल लिटरेसी क्लब द्वारा एक महत्वपूर्ण चुनाव जागरूकता कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम की अध्यक्षता महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. जगदीश चौहान ने की। कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य वक्ता एवं रिसोर्स पर्सन धनवीर चौहान, लेक्चरर (कॉमर्स) और नोडल ऑफिसर चुनाव स्वीप कार्यक्रम, ने भाग लिया। इसके साथ ही राज रानी, बीएलओ, ने भी छात्रों को संबोधित करते हुए चुनाव प्रक्रिया से जुड़ी महत्वपूर्ण जानकारियाँ साझा कीं।

ईएलसी नोडल ऑफिसर प्रो. प्रतिभा चौधरी और डॉ. सुशील तोमर की देखरेख में कार्यक्रम सफलतापूर्वक संपन्न हुआ। मुख्य वक्ता धनवीर चौहान ने छात्रों को मताधिकार के महत्व, वोट बनवाने की प्रक्रिया और लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने में युवा मतदाताओं की भूमिका के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रत्येक युवा को समय पर अपना वोट बनवाना चाहिए और सक्रिय रूप से चुनाव में भाग लेना चाहिए।

बीएलओ राज रानी ने छात्रों को वोटर रजिस्ट्रेशन, आवश्यक दस्तावेज, और प्रक्रिया से जुड़े व्यावहारिक पहलुओं को सरल भाषा में समझाया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान छात्रों ने भी उत्साहपूर्वक सवाल पूछे और चुनावी प्रणाली के बारे में विस्तृत जानकारी प्राप्त की। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य युवाओं को चुनाव प्रक्रिया के प्रति जागरूक करना तथा उन्हें अपने मताधिकार के जिम्मेदार उपयोग के लिए प्रेरित करना था।

A significant election awareness program was organized by the Electoral Literacy Club at Government College Paonta Sahib. The program was presided over by the college principal, Dr. Jagdish Chauhan. Dhanveer Chauhan, Lecturer (Commerce) and Nodal Officer for the Election SWEEP program, participated as the chief speaker and resource person. Raj Rani, a Booth Level Officer (BLO), also addressed the students, sharing important information related to the election process.

The program was successfully conducted under the supervision of ELC Nodal Officers Prof. Pratibha Chaudhary and Dr. Sushil Tomar. The main speaker, Dhanveer Chauhan, provided students with detailed information about the importance of voting rights, the voter registration process, and the role of young voters in strengthening democracy. He emphasized that every young person should register to vote on time and actively participate in elections.

BLO Raj Rani explained the practical aspects of voter registration, required documents, and the process in simple language to the students. During the program, the students also enthusiastically asked questions and gained detailed information about the electoral system. The aim of the program was to create awareness among young people about the election process and to motivate them to use their right to vote responsibly.
