पीएम श्री कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय पांवटा साहिब में ‘बस्ता मुक्त दिवस’ हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया।विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य एम.आर. वर्मा के निर्देशन में राष्ट्रीय आविष्कार अभियान एवं इलेक्टोरल लिटरेसी क्लब द्वारा विविध गतिविधियों का आयोजन किया गया। इस अवसर पर गवर्नमेंट कॉलेज शिलाई के ग्रेड-1 सुपरिंटेंडेंट कामराज चौहान विशिष्ट अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। इलेक्टोरल लिटरेसी क्लब की ओर से प्रश्नोत्तरी, भाषण तथा पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिताएं आयोजित की गईं। प्रश्नोत्तरी प्रतियोगिता में कालिंदी हाउस प्रथम तथा रानी लक्ष्मीबाई हाउस द्वितीय रहा।

भाषण प्रतियोगिता में निर्णायक मंडल की भूमिका गुलाब सिंह ठाकुर और सारिका चंदेल ने निभाई। भाषण प्रतियोगिता में कुमारी राजनंदिनी ने प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। राष्ट्रीय आविष्कार अभियान के तहत मैथ्स व साइंस ओलंपियाड, वैज्ञानिक मॉडल प्रदर्शनी, तथा जूनियर, सीनियर व सीनियर सेकेंडरी स्तर की क्विज प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। अभियान की प्रभारी मीनाक्षी टंडन ने बताया कि पूरे वर्ष विभिन्न गतिविधियों का आयोजन कर विद्यार्थियों में नवाचार व सीखने की प्रवृत्ति को प्रोत्साहित किया जाता है। इस अभियान में भी कालिंदी हाउस प्रथम रहा। प्रधानाचार्य एवं खंड परियोजना अधिकारी एम.आर. वर्मा ने कहा कि ऐसी गतिविधियां विद्यार्थियों में शिक्षा के प्रति रुझान बढ़ाती हैं तथा ‘करके सीखने’ की भावना को प्रोत्साहित करती हैं। कार्यक्रम के दौरान विद्यालय की छात्राओं व अध्यापकों ने रंगारंग प्रस्तुतियां भी दीं। सभी विजेता प्रतिभागियों को मंच पर सम्मानित किया गया।

PM Shri Kanya Senior Secondary School, Paonta Sahib, celebrated ‘Bagless Day’ with great enthusiasm. Under the guidance of the school principal, M.R. Verma, various activities were organized by the National Innovation Campaign and the Electoral Literacy Club. Kamraj Chauhan, Grade-1 Superintendent of Government College Shillai, was present as the special guest on this occasion. The Electoral Literacy Club organized a quiz, a speech competition, and a poster making competition. In the quiz competition, Kalindi House secured the first position and Rani Lakshmibai House came second.

Gulab Singh Thakur and Sarika Chandel served as judges in the speech competition. Kumari Rajnandini secured the first position in the speech competition. Under the National Innovation Campaign, a Math and Science Olympiad, a science model exhibition, and quiz competitions at the junior, senior, and senior secondary levels were organized. Meenakshi Tandon, the in-charge of the campaign, stated that various activities are organized throughout the year to encourage innovation and a learning attitude among students. Kalindi House also secured the first position in this campaign. Principal and Block Project Officer M.R. Verma said that such activities increase students’ interest in education and encourage the spirit of ‘learning by doing’. Students and teachers of the school also presented colorful performances during the program. All the winning participants were honored on the stage.
