सिरमौर जिला एक बार फिर खेल जगत में चमका है। जिले के उभरते हुए क्रिकेटर हार्दिक शर्मा का चयन Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Men U-16 टीम में हुआ है। घोषित सूची के अनुसार हार्दिक सिरमौर से एकमात्र खिलाड़ी हैं जिन्हें टीम में जगह मिली है।
हार्दिक शर्मा तीरमली मंधारा, डाकघर बिरला, तहसील ददाहू, धारटीधार के रहने वाले हैं। उनके पिता अशोक कुमार कोर्ट में कार्यरत हैं। बेटे की इस शानदार उपलब्धि पर उन्होंने हार्दिक के कोच अश्वनी राय और के.के. शर्मा सिरमौर जिला क्रिकेट संगठन के अध्यक्ष अतर सिंह नेगी और सेक्रेटरी बब्बी का विशेष आभार व्यक्त किया है। उन्होंने कहा कि कोचों की कड़ी मेहनत और मार्गदर्शन की बदौलत ही हार्दिक ने यह मुकाम हासिल किया है।

HPCA की ओर से जारी अधिसूचना के अनुसार टीम BCCI Vijay Merchant Trophy 2025 और प्रैक्टिस मैचों के लिए हैदराबाद और विजयवाड़ा में हिमाचल प्रदेश का प्रतिनिधित्व करेगी। टीम के खिलाड़ी 28 नवंबर 2025 की शाम तक Park Inn by Radisson, अमृतसर में रिपोर्ट करेंगे, जिसके बाद 29 नवंबर को टीम हैदराबाद के लिए रवाना होगी। हार्दिक के चयन से पूरे क्षेत्र में खुशी की लहर है। परिजनों, खेल प्रेमियों और स्थानीय कोचों ने इस उपलब्धि पर उन्हें ढेरों शुभकामनाएँ दी हैं। वही HPCA अध्यक्ष प्रेम ठाकुर ने सभी चयनित खिलाड़ियों को शुभकामनाएं देते हुए उज्ज्वल भविष्य की कामना की है।

Sirmaur district has once again shone in the world of sports. Hardik Sharma, an emerging cricketer from the district, has been selected for the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Men’s U-16 team. According to the announced list, Hardik is the only player from Sirmaur to have secured a place in the team.Hardik Sharma hails from Tirmali Mandhara, Post Office Birla, Tehsil Dadahu, Dhartidhar. His father, Ashok Kumar, works in the court. On his son’s remarkable achievement, he expressed his special gratitude to Hardik’s coaches, Ashwani Rai and K.K. Sharma, and to the President of the Sirmaur District Cricket Association, Atar Singh Negi, and Secretary Babbi. He said that Hardik has achieved this milestone thanks to the hard work and guidance of his coaches.

According to a notification issued by the HPCA, the team will represent Himachal Pradesh in the BCCI Vijay Merchant Trophy 2025 and practice matches in Hyderabad and Vijayawada. The team members will report to the Park Inn by Radisson, Amritsar, by the evening of November 28, 2025, after which the team will depart for Hyderabad on November 29. Hardik’s selection has brought immense joy to the entire region. His family, sports enthusiasts, and local coaches have extended their best wishes to him on this achievement. HPCA President Prem Thakur also congratulated all the selected players and wished them a bright future.
