हिमाचल प्रदेश में पिछले 3 वर्षों के दौरान दवाओं की गुणवत्ता को लेकर बड़ी कार्रवाई सामने आई है। बीते 3 वर्षों में प्रदेश में कुल 12034 दवाओं के नमूनों की जांच की गई, जिनमें से 168 दवाओं के सैंपल मानकों पर खरे नहीं उतरे। यह जानकारी भाजपा विधायक विपिन सिंह परमार के प्रश्न के जवाब में सरकार की तरफ से सदन के पटल पर रखी गई। सरकार ने कहा कि दवाओं की गुणवत्ता पर सख्त निगरानी जारी है और दोषी पाए गए उद्योगों पर कार्रवाई की जा रही है। सरकार ने बताया कि उन उद्योग इकाइयों में से जिनके नमूने फेल पाए गए, 40 मामलों में कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई गई है, जबकि 52 मामलों में दवा एवं प्रसाधन अधिनियम 1940 के तहत प्रशासनिक कार्रवाई की गई है। इसके अलावा 65 मामले अभी जांचाधीन हैं। सरकार ने जानकारी दी कि 11 मामलों में विनिर्माण इकाइयों ने जांच रिपोर्ट को चुनौती दी थी, जिनमें से अब तक 7 नमूने मानकों के अनुरूप पाए गए हैं और 9 रिपोर्टें केंद्रीय दवा प्रयोगशाला कोलकाता से लंबित हैं।

In Himachal Pradesh, significant action has been taken regarding the quality of medicines over the past three years. During this period, a total of 12,034 drug samples were tested in the state, of which 168 samples failed to meet the required standards. This information was presented by the government in the state assembly in response to a question from BJP MLA Vipin Singh Parmar. The government stated that strict monitoring of drug quality is ongoing and action is being taken against industries found to be in violation. The government further informed that legal action has been initiated in 40 cases against the manufacturing units whose samples failed the tests, while administrative action has been taken in 52 cases under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940. Additionally, 65 cases are still under investigation. The government also stated that in 11 cases, the manufacturing units challenged the test reports, of which 7 samples have now been found to be compliant with the standards, and 9 reports are pending from the Central Drugs Laboratory, Kolkata.
