वुमन प्रीमियर लीग (डब्ल्यूपीएल) के लिए नई दिल्ली में हुई मेगा ऑक्शन में हिमाचल की चार महिला क्रिकेटरों को पर अच्छी-खासी बोली लगी है। शिमला की रेणुका सिंह ठाकुर, तनुजा कंवर और हिमाचल से खेलने वाली हरलीन देओल पर टीमों ने विश्वास जताया है। पिछले कई सीजन आरसीबी के लिए खेलने वाली रेणुका सिंह ठाकुर इस बार गुजरात जाइंट्स की ओर से मैदान में उतरेंगी। इन्हें गुजरात ने 60 लाख रुपये की राशि में टीम में शामिल किया है। रेणुका का बेस प्राइज 40 लाख रुपये था। हालांकि, इससे पहले आरसीबी ने रेणुका को 1.40 करोड़ में खरीदा था। इस बार इनकी कम प्राइज पर बोली लगी है। इसके अलावा शिमला की तनुजा कंबर को भी गुजरात की टीम ने ने 45 लाख की राशि के साथ खरीदा है। तनुजा इससे पहले भी इसी टीम के लिए खेल चुकी हैं। इस बार गुजरात ने इन्हें रिलीज कर दिया था। इनका बेस प्राइज 45 लाख रुपये था।

हिमाचल की महिला टीम से खेलने वाली हरलीन देओल इस बार यूपी वॉरियर्स की तरफ से चुनौती पेश करेंगी। इन्हें यूपी ने 50 लाख रुपये की राशि के साथ टीम में शामिल किया है। हरलीन का बेस प्राइज 50 लाख रुपये था। इससे पहले हरलीन महिला प्रीमियर लीग के कई सीजन गुजरात के लिए खेल चुकी हैं। हिमाचल की चार महिला क्रिकेटरों के चयन से प्रशंसकों में खुशी है। रेणुका और हरलीन विश्व विजेता बनी भारतीय टीम का हिस्सा रह चुकी हैं। रेणुका के चयन पर रोहड़ू के पारसा गांव में परिजनों में खुशी है। वहीं इटली में होने वाले एफएक्ससी (फायरबॉल एक्सट्रीज चैलेंज) वर्ल्ड कप में कुल्लू की साक्षी ठाकुर अपनी प्रतिभा दिखाएंगी। कुल्लू के खलाड़ा गांव की साक्षी का चयन भारतीय महिला टीम में प्रतियोगिता के लिए हुआ है। इस प्रतियोगिता के लिए भारत की टीम ने पहली बार क्वालिफाई किया है। ऐसे में खिलाड़ियों को इस प्रतियोगिता में देश का प्रतिनिधित्व करने का मौका मिल रहा है। साक्षी ठाकुर के कोच पवन ठाकुर ने कहा कि एक दिसंबर को टीम रवाना होगी। चार दिसंबर से प्रतियोगिता शुरू होगी और मैच 8 दिसंबर तक चलेंगे।
