भाजपा प्रदेश प्रवक्ता बलदेव तोमर ने कबड्डी वर्ल्ड कप में शानदार प्रदर्शन कर देश को स्वर्ण पदक दिलाने वाली पांच हिमाचल की बेटियां जिसमें तीन सिरमौर, एक मंडी, एक चम्बा को हार्दिक बधाई और शुभकामनाएं दी हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि हिमाचल की ये प्रतिभाशाली खिलाड़ी न केवल प्रदेश, बल्कि पूरे देश का गौरव बढ़ाकर लौटी हैं।लेकिन इसी अवसर पर उन्होंने मुख्यमंत्री और प्रदेश सरकार से कड़े सवाल उठाए। उन्होंने कहा कि विश्व मंच पर भारत का झंडा बुलंद करने वाली इन बेटियों के लिए अब तक न तो सम्मान राशि घोषित की गई है और न ही कोई औपचारिक सम्मान समारोह आयोजित किया गया है। सरकार की यह चुप्पी खिलाड़ियों के मनोबल पर चोट पहुंचाती है।

बलदेव तोमर ने कहा कि भाजपा प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा पूर्व में क्रिकेट खिलाड़ी रेणुका ठाकुर को दिए गए एक करोड़ रुपये की सम्मान राशि का भाजपा स्वागत करती है, लेकिन खेल नीति में समानता आवश्यक है। उन्होंने कहा कि “जब रेणुका को एक करोड़ दिया जा सकता है, तो कबड्डी विश्व कप विजेता इन चार खिलाड़ियों को भी वही सम्मान मिलना चाहिए। ये बेटियां भी वहीं मंच पर खड़ी होकर भारत का नाम रोशन करके आई हैं।”उन्होंने मांग की कि प्रदेश सरकार तत्काल प्रभाव से प्रत्येक खिलाड़ी को एक-एक करोड़ रुपये की सम्मान राशि और सरकारी नौकरी प्रदान करने की घोषणा करे। इससे न केवल इन खिलाड़ियों का हौसला बढ़ेगा बल्कि हिमाचल की नई पीढ़ी भी खेलों में आगे बढ़ने के लिए प्रेरित होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रतिभाओं को प्रोत्साहन देना किसी भी सरकार का दायित्व है, और खेलों में उत्कृष्ट प्रदर्शन करने वालों को समय पर सम्मानित करना उनकी उपलब्धियों के प्रति वास्तविक आदर है। सरकार की मौन नीति खिलाड़ियों और उनके परिवारों के साथ न्याय नहीं करती।

BJP state spokesperson Baldev Tomar extended his heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the five daughters of Himachal Pradesh – three from Sirmaur, one from Mandi, and one from Chamba – who performed brilliantly in the Kabaddi World Cup and brought home the gold medal for the country. He said that these talented players from Himachal have not only brought glory to the state but to the entire nation. However, on this occasion, he also raised some pointed questions for the Chief Minister and the state government. He said that no prize money has been announced for these daughters who have hoisted India’s flag high on the world stage, nor has any formal felicitation ceremony been organized. This silence from the government is detrimental to the morale of the players.

Baldev Tomar stated that the BJP welcomes the Himachal Pradesh government’s earlier decision to award cricketer Renuka Thakur a sum of one crore rupees, but emphasized the need for equality in sports policy. He said, “If Renuka can be given one crore rupees, then these four players who won the Kabaddi World Cup should also receive the same honor. These daughters have also stood on the same platform and brought glory to India.” He demanded that the state government immediately announce a reward of one crore rupees and a government job for each player. This will not only boost the morale of these players but also inspire the new generation of Himachal Pradesh to excel in sports. He added that encouraging talent is the responsibility of any government, and timely recognition of those who perform exceptionally well in sports is a true mark of respect for their achievements. The government’s silence on this matter is unjust to the players and their families.
