राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई के प्रहरी क्लब, एंटी टोबैको एंड ड्रग डी-एडिक्शन क्लब और राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (NSS) ने करियर काउंसलिंग एंड प्लेसमेंट सेल तथा रोवर-रेंजर्स के सहयोग से शिलाई बाजार में ड्रग एब्यूज के खिलाफ एक जागरूकता रैली का आयोजन किया। यह कार्यक्रम महाविद्यालय के प्राचार्य डॉ. जे. आर. कश्यप के मार्गदर्शन में सम्पन्न हुआ। रैली का नेतृत्व एंटी टोबैको एंड ड्रग डी-एडिक्शन क्लब के संयोजक प्रो. अनिल कुमार, NSS प्रोग्राम ऑफिसर व प्रहरी क्लब सदस्य यशपाल शर्मा, तथा रेंजर्स की संयोजिका प्रो. रीबा ठाकुर ने किया। स्वयंसेवकों और विद्यार्थियों ने “Say No to Drugs”, “Say Yes to Life”, “नशा छोड़ो, जिंदगी से नाता जोड़ो” जैसे संदेशों वाले स्लोगन चार्ट और पोस्टर लेकर जोरदार नारे लगाए। इस रैली का मुख्य उद्देश्य युवा वर्ग को नशे के दुष्प्रभावों से दूर रखना और समाज में जागरूकता फैलाना रहा। नशा विरोधी रैली में महाविद्यालय के 40 विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लिया।

The Prahar Club, Anti-Tobacco and Drug De-addiction Club, and National Service Scheme (NSS) of Government College Shillai, in collaboration with the Career Counseling and Placement Cell and Rover-Rangers, organized an awareness rally against drug abuse in Shillai market. The event was conducted under the guidance of the college principal, Dr. J.R. Kashyap. The rally was led by Professor Anil Kumar, convener of the Anti-Tobacco and Drug De-addiction Club, NSS Program Officer and Prahar Club member Yashpal Sharma, and Rover-Rangers convener Professor Reeba Thakur. Volunteers and students enthusiastically chanted slogans and carried charts and posters with messages such as “Say No to Drugs,” “Say Yes to Life,” and “Quit drugs, embrace life.” The main objective of the rally was to keep young people away from the harmful effects of drugs and to spread awareness in society. Forty students from the college participated enthusiastically in the anti-drug rally.
