राजकीय वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला जामनीवाला में वार्षिक उत्सव बड़े धूमधाम और उत्साह के साथ मनाया गया। कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि कांग्रेस मंडल अध्यक्ष अश्वनी शर्मा ने शिरकत की, जबकि बलवीर सिंह धीमान, अनिल कुमार और गुरबक्श सिंह विशेष अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। मुख्य अतिथि ने दीप प्रज्वलित कर कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ किया। इसके उपरांत स्कूल प्रबंधन द्वारा मुख्य अतिथि सहित अन्य अतिथियों को शाल, टोपी व स्मृति चिन्ह भेंट कर सम्मानित किया गया। कार्यक्रम में स्कूल के प्रधानाचार्य गीता राम ने वार्षिक प्रतिवेदन प्रस्तुत किया।वार्षिक उत्सव के दौरान बच्चों ने आकर्षक सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुतियों से दर्शकों का मन मोह लिया। सबसे पहले स्वागत गीत के माध्यम से मुख्य अतिथि का अभिनंदन किया गया।

इसके बाद विद्यार्थियों ने पंजाबी डांस और लोक नृत्य प्रस्तुत किए, जिनमें कुल्लू-मनाली लागा मेला, चुड्डू फुरा जाना, रोहडू जाना मेरी आमिए जैसे गीतों पर किए गए नृत्य ने माहौल को खुशनुमा बना दिया और मुख्य अतिथि भी थिरकने पर मजबूर हुए। अपने संबोधन में मुख्य अतिथि अश्वनी शर्मा ने बच्चों को जीवन में लक्ष्य निर्धारित करने और मेहनत व अनुशासन के साथ आगे बढ़ने की प्रेरणा दी। साथ ही उन्होंने विद्यार्थियों से नशे से दूर रहने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि नशा युवा पीढ़ी को खोखला कर रहा है, इसलिए समाज को मिलकर नशा उन्मूलन की दिशा में कदम बढ़ाने होंगे। अंत में मुख्य अतिथि ने मेधावी छात्रों को सम्मानित किया। कार्यक्रम के दौरान क्षेत्र के गणमान्य लोग भी बड़ी संख्या में उपस्थित रहे।

The annual day celebration was held with great pomp and enthusiasm at Government Senior Secondary School, Jamniwala. Congress Mandal President Ashwani Sharma attended the event as the chief guest, while Balveer Singh Dhiman, Anil Kumar, and Gurbaksh Singh were present as special guests. The chief guest inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Following this, the school management honored the chief guest and other guests by presenting them with shawls, caps, and mementos. The school principal, Geeta Ram, presented the annual report during the program. During the annual day celebration, the children captivated the audience with their attractive cultural performances. The program began with a welcome song to greet the chief guest.

Following this, the students presented Punjabi and folk dances, including performances to songs like “Kullu-Manali Laga Mela,” “Chuddu Fura Jana,” and “Rohru Jana Meri Ammiye,” which created a joyful atmosphere and even compelled the chief guest to join in the dancing. In his address, the chief guest, Ashwani Sharma, inspired the children to set goals in life and to move forward with hard work and discipline. He also appealed to the students to stay away from drugs, stating that drug abuse is hollowing out the younger generation, and therefore, society must work together to eradicate it. Finally, the chief guest honored the meritorious students. A large number of dignitaries from the area were also present during the program.
