आसरा संस्था के प्रभारी एवं वर्ल्ड रिकॉर्ड होल्डर डॉ जोगेंद्र हाब्बी ने प्रेस को जारी बयान में बताया कि आसरा के कलाकार इन दिनों 56वें भारतीय अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फिल्म महोत्सव, गोवा में सिरमौर की समृद्ध लोक-संस्कृति की खूशबू बिखेर रहे हैं। 20 नवंबर को गोवा के मुख्यमंत्री डॉ प्रमोद सावंत द्वारा पणजी में महोत्सव का शुभारंभ किया गया, जहाँ सुप्रसिद्ध फिल्म अभिनेता ओर निर्देशक अनुपम खेर, नंदमूरी बालकृष्णा सहित अनेक फिल्मी हस्तियाँ मंच पर उपस्थित रहीं। यह आयोजन 20 से 28 नवंबर तक जारी रहेगा।डॉ. हाब्बी ने बताया कि सूचना एवं प्रसारण मंत्रालय, सेंट्रल ब्यूरो ऑफ कम्युनिकेशन, चंडीगढ़ के सौजन्य से आसरा सांस्कृतिक दल को इस महत्वपूर्ण अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मंच पर प्रदर्शन के लिए भेजा गया है।

फिल्म महोत्सव में हिमाचल के अतिरिक्त दिल्ली, जम्मू-कश्मीर, असम, उड़ीसा, मध्य प्रदेश, दीव-दमन, तमिलनाडु और पश्चिम बंगाल सहित देश के कई राज्यों के कलाकार अपनी संस्कृति का आकर्षक प्रदर्शन कर रहे हैं। सीबीसी केंद्र की सहायक निदेशक गोपा विश्वास और उपनिदेशक बलजीत सिंह के निर्देशन में पणजी स्थित आइनॉक्स में भारत के सोलह राज्यों की लोक परंपराओं को समय-समय पर मंचित किया जा रहा है। आसरा संस्था के कलाकार सिरमौर के हाटी ट्रांस-गिरी क्षेत्र की तीन प्रमुख लोकनृत्य विधाओं — हाटी की नाटी, डग्याली नाच और सिरमौर के प्राचीन सिंहटू नृत्य को अपनी पारंपरिक गरिमा और विशिष्ट शैली में प्रस्तुत कर रहे हैं।

सुप्रसिद्ध लोकगायक रामलाल ठाकुर, बिमला चौहान, सुनील चौहान तथा उस्ताद बिस्मिल्लाह ख़ान युवा पुरस्कार से सम्मानित कलाकार गोपाल हाब्बी की मधुर स्वरलहरियों से सजे नाटी, डग्याली और सिंहटू के लोकगीतों व लोकनृत्यों ने फिल्म फेस्टिवल के दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया है। इन सिरमौरी लोक विधाओं को गुरु पद्मश्री विद्यानंद सरैक तथा डॉ जोगेंद्र हाब्बी के मार्गदर्शन में कलाकारों की लंबी साधना, परिश्रम और समर्पण के साथ तैयार किया गया है।अंतर्राष्ट्रीय मंच पर भारत और विदेशों से आए सैकड़ों पर्यटक प्रतिदिन इन कलाकारों के साथ तस्वीरें खिंचवा रहे हैं और सिरमौरी नाटी, डग्याली तथा सिंहटू नृत्य की जमकर प्रशंसा कर रहे हैं। सांस्कृतिक दल में शामिल कलाकारों में जोगेंद्र, गोपाल, रामलाल, चमनलाल, अमीचंद, संदीप, बिमला, सरोज, अनुजा, आरती आदि प्रतिभाशाली कलाकार अपनी कला से सिरमौर का नाम रोशन कर रहे हैं।

Dr. Jogendra Habbi, in-charge of the Aasra organization and a world record holder, stated in a press release that Aasra’s artists are currently showcasing the rich folk culture of Sirmaur at the 56th International Film Festival of India in Goa. The festival was inaugurated on November 20th in Panaji by Goa Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant, where renowned film actors and directors, including Anupam Kher and Nandamuri Balakrishna, were present on stage. The event will continue until November 28th. Dr. Habbi further stated that the Aasra cultural troupe was sent to perform at this important international platform courtesy of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Central Bureau of Communication, Chandigarh.

In addition to Himachal Pradesh, artists from several other states across the country, including Delhi, Jammu and Kashmir, Assam, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, Daman and Diu, Tamil Nadu, and West Bengal, are showcasing their vibrant cultures at the film festival. Under the direction of Gopa Biswas, Assistant Director, and Baljit Singh, Deputy Director of the CBC Centre, folk traditions from sixteen states of India are being staged periodically at the INOX theatre in Panaji. Artists from the Aasra organization are presenting three major folk dance forms of the Hatti Trans-Giri region of Sirmaur—Hatti ki Naati, Dagyali Naach, and the ancient Singhtu dance of Sirmaur—in their traditional grace and distinctive style.

Renowned folk singers Ramlal Thakur, Bimla Chauhan, Sunil Chauhan, and Gopal Habbi, an artist honored with the Ustad Bismillah Khan Yuva Award, captivated the film festival audience with their melodious renditions of folk songs and dances from Nati, Dagyali, and Singhtu. These Sirmouri folk art forms were prepared with the long-standing dedication, hard work, and commitment of the artists under the guidance of Guru Padma Shri Vidyanand Saraik and Dr. Jogendra Habbi. Hundreds of tourists from India and abroad are taking pictures with these artists daily at the international platform and are highly praising the Sirmouri Nati, Dagyali, and Singhtu dances. The cultural troupe includes talented artists such as Jogendra, Gopal, Ramlal, Chamanlal, Amichand, Sandeep, Bimla, Saroj, Anuja, and Aarti, who are bringing glory to Sirmour through their art.
