राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई की राष्ट्रीय सेवा योजना (एनएसएस) इकाई एक और दो ने हिमाचल प्रदेश में आगामी स्थानीय निकाय चुनावों को ध्यान में रखते हुए मतदाता जागरूकता विषय पर एक विशेष व्याख्यान का आयोजन किया। कार्यक्रम में रिसोर्स पर्सन के रूप में उपस्थित कार्यक्रम अधिकारी यशपाल शर्मा ने स्वयंसेवकों को जागरूक मतदाता बनने के महत्व पर विस्तार से जानकारी दी। उन्होंने बताया कि एक वोट की ताकत न केवल योग्य नेतृत्व का चयन सुनिश्चित करती है, बल्कि क्षेत्र के विकास को गति देने और देश के लोकतंत्र को मजबूत बनाने में भी अहम भूमिका निभाती है।इस जागरूकता व्याख्यान में एनएसएस के कुल 40 स्वयंसेवकों ने सक्रिय रूप से भाग लिया। कार्यक्रम का उद्देश्य युवाओं में मतदान के महत्व को समझाते हुए उन्हें जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने के लिए प्रेरित करना था।

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Units One and Two of Government College Shillai organized a special lecture on voter awareness, keeping in mind the upcoming local body elections in Himachal Pradesh. Program Officer Yashpal Sharma, who was present as the resource person, explained in detail to the volunteers the importance of being an informed voter. He emphasized that the power of a single vote not only ensures the selection of competent leadership but also plays a crucial role in accelerating the development of the region and strengthening the country’s democracy. A total of 40 NSS volunteers actively participated in this awareness lecture. The program aimed to educate young people about the importance of voting and inspire them to become responsible citizens.
