राजकीय महाविद्यालय शिलाई में रेड रिबन क्लब तथा एनसीसी यूनिट द्वारा एड्स अवेयरनेस कैंपेन के तहत एक जागरूकता रैली का आयोजन किया गया। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ कॉलेज प्रांगण से हुआ, जहां प्राचार्य डॉ. जे. आर. कश्यप ने हरी झंडी दिखाकर रैली को रवाना किया। रैली में रेड रिबन क्लब की संयोजक प्रो. सुजाता खमन और एनसीसी एसोसिएट ऑफिसर प्रो. रामलाल ठाकुर के नेतृत्व में लगभग 80 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया। छात्र-छात्राओं ने हाथों में एड्स जागरूकता से जुड़े पोस्टर और नारे लिए हुए थे, जिनमें “एड्स से बचाव ही सुरक्षा है”, “HIV से लड़ें, डर से नहीं”, “सेफ लाइफ, सेफ फ्यूचर” जैसे संदेश प्रमुख रूप से शामिल थे। एनसीसी कैडेट्स ने समाज में जागरूकता फैलाने के संकल्प के साथ रैली को सफल बनाया। अंत में रेड रिबन क्लब ने सभी प्रतिभागियों का आभार व्यक्त करते हुए कहा कि ऐसे आयोजन युवाओं में जागरूकता बढ़ाने और समाज को स्वस्थ दिशा देने के लिए अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण हैं।

A public awareness rally was organized by the Red Ribbon Club and the NCC unit at Government College Shillai as part of an AIDS awareness campaign. The program commenced from the college premises, where Principal Dr. J.R. Kashyap flagged off the rally. Approximately 80 students participated in the rally, led by the Red Ribbon Club’s convener, Professor Sujata Khaman, and NCC Associate Officer, Professor Ramlal Thakur. The students carried posters and banners related to AIDS awareness, prominently displaying messages such as “Prevention is the only protection against AIDS,” “Fight HIV, not fear,” and “Safe Life, Safe Future.” The NCC cadets ensured the success of the rally with their commitment to spreading awareness in society. Finally, the Red Ribbon Club expressed its gratitude to all the participants, stating that such events are crucial for increasing awareness among young people and guiding society towards a healthier future.
