देवीनगर क्षेत्र में शनि मंदिर, बर्फ फैक्ट्री के समीप 12 नवंबर की शाम हुए हमले के मामले में पांवटा पुलिस ने मुख्य आरोपी हमजा पुत्र मोहम्मद जावेद निवासी सहारनपुर को गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। शिकायतकर्ता सौरभ कुमार पुत्र विनोद कुमार निवासी वार्ड 10 की शिकायत पर दर्ज अभियोग संख्या 225/25, धारा 115(2), 126(2), 3(5), 351(2) BNS के तहत पुलिस इस मामले में निरंतर कार्रवाई कर रही थी।शिकायतकर्ता के अनुसार, 12 नवंबर की रात करीब 7:20 बजे वह अपने साथियों नवीन और मनीष के साथ शनि मंदिर के पास खड़ा था। इसी दौरान हमजा अपने साथी सतबीर के साथ पहुंचा और विवाद बढ़ने पर सौरभ पर कट्टा तानकर दो बार फायर करने की कोशिश की, लेकिन हथियार चला नहीं।

इसके बाद आरोपियों ने ईंट से वार किया तथा कड़ाही का उबलता तेल फेंककर सौरभ का हाथ जला दिया। घटना के बाद दोनों आरोपी मौके से फरार हो गए थे।प्रभारी थाना पांवटा साहिब की टीम ने गुप्त सूचना के आधार पर 22 नवंबर की रात लगभग 10 बजे सहसपुर के एक मकान में दबिश देकर हमजा को गिरफ्तार किया। पूछताछ में हमजा ने बताया कि उसकी देसी पिस्टल विकास उर्फ विक्की पुत्र अनील निवासी अमरकोट के पास है, जो किसी गंभीर वारदात को अंजाम देने की फिराक में था।सूचना के आधार पर 23 नवंबर को विक्की के घर दबिश दी गई, लेकिन वह पहले ही फरार हो चुका था।

तलाशी में पुलिस ने उसके कमरे से एक देसी पिस्टल, दो मैग्जीन और दो जिंदा राउंड बरामद किए। फरार आरोपी की तलाश तेज कर दी गई है। एसपी सिरमौर निश्चित नेगी ने बताया कि हमजा के खिलाफ उत्तर प्रदेश, हरियाणा और उत्तराखंड में कई आपराधिक मामले दर्ज हैं। वह लोगों को धमकाने, वसूली और चोरी जैसी वारदातों में शामिल रहा है तथा खुद को बिश्नोई गैंग से जोड़कर पेश करता है। मामले में प्रयास-हत्या सहित गंभीर धाराएं जोड़ी गई हैं। पुलिस ने कहा कि हमजा से पूछताछ जारी है और जल्द ही सभी आरोपी गिरफ्तार कर लिए जाएंगे।

Paonta police have arrested the main accused, Hamza, son of Mohammad Javed, a resident of Saharanpur, in connection with the attack that took place on the evening of November 12 near the Shani Temple and ice factory in the Devinagar area. The police were continuously investigating the case, registered under FIR number 225/25, sections 115(2), 126(2), 3(5), and 351(2) of the BNS, based on a complaint filed by Saurabh Kumar, son of Vinod Kumar, a resident of Ward 10. According to the complainant, on the night of November 12, at around 7:20 pm, he was standing near the Shani Temple with his friends Naveen and Manish. At that time, Hamza arrived with his associate Satbir, and when the argument escalated, Hamza pointed a country-made pistol at Saurabh and attempted to fire twice, but the weapon misfired.

The accused then attacked Saurabh with a brick and burned his hand by throwing boiling oil from a pan. After the incident, both accused fled the scene. Based on a tip-off, the Paonta Sahib police station team raided a house in Sahaspur on the night of November 22nd, at around 10 PM, and arrested Hamza. During questioning, Hamza revealed that his country-made pistol was with Vikas alias Vicky, son of Anil, a resident of Amarkot, who was planning to commit a serious crime. Based on this information, a raid was conducted at Vicky’s house on November 23rd, but he had already fled.

During the search, police recovered a country-made pistol, two magazines, and two live rounds from his room. The search for the absconding accused has been intensified. SP Sirmaur Nishant Negi said that Hamza has several criminal cases registered against him in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand. He has been involved in crimes such as threatening people, extortion, and theft, and presents himself as being associated with the Bishnoi gang. Serious charges, including attempted murder, have been added to the case. Police said that questioning of Hamza is underway and all the accused will be arrested soon.
