सिरमौर में ‘मिशन सुरक्षा’ अभियान: RTO टीम ने दो दिन में किए 9 लाख के चालान…

सिरमौर में ओवरलोडिंग और परिवहन नियमों के अवैध खनन पर शिकंजा कसते हुए, क्षेत्रीय परिवहन अधिकारी (RTO) सोना चंदेल के नेतृत्व में विभाग ने एक व्यापक ‘मिशन सुरक्षा’ अभियान चलाया। 19 और 20 नवंबर 2025 की तड़के सुबह नाहन–कालाअम्ब और नाहन–पांवटा साहिब जैसे महत्वपूर्ण मार्गों पर यह विशेष चेकिंग अभियान चलाया गया।यह कार्रवाई आम तौर पर यातायात शुरू होने से पहले, सुबह 5:20 बजे से शुरू हुई, जिसका उद्देश्य भारी वाहनों द्वारा अंधेरे और तड़के का फायदा उठाकर किए जाने वाले उल्लंघनों को पकड़ना था। विभाग की संयुक्त टीम ने अलग-अलग चेक प्वाइंट्स पर भारी वाहनों की गहन जांच की।

चेकिंग के दौरान कई टिपर और भारी वाहनों में सरकारी नियमों का उल्लंघन पाया गया। खासतौर पर बजरी, रेत आदि ढोने वाले कुछ टिपर “एक्सल लिफ्टिंग” करते मिले, जो न केवल भारत सरकार के सड़क परिवहन एवं राजमार्ग के नियमों के खिलाफ है, बल्कि सड़क सुरक्षा के लिए बड़ा खतरा भी बनता है। टीम ने ऐसे वाहनों पर कड़ी कार्रवाई करते हुए दो दिनों में करीब 9 लाख रुपये के चालान जारी किए। इस अभियान में RTO सोना चंदेल के साथ ARTO राकेश वर्मा, हरजीत सिंह, धर्मेंद्र तथा अजय तंवर शामिल रहे। टीम ने नाहन, काला आम्ब और पांवटा साहिब मार्गों पर भारी यातायात को देखते हुए बारीकी से निरीक्षण किया।RTO सोना चंदेल ने स्पष्ट किया है कि आगे भी ऐसे नियमित अभियान चलाए जाएंगे और नियमों का उल्लंघन करने वालों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई जारी रहेगी, ताकि सड़क सुरक्षा व परिवहन व्यवस्था को सुचारू रखा जा सके।

In a crackdown on overloading and illegal mining in Sirmaur, the Regional Transport Office (RTO), under the leadership of RTO Sona Chandel, conducted a comprehensive ‘Mission Suraksha’ (Mission Safety) campaign. This special checking drive was carried out on the early mornings of November 19 and 20, 2025, on important routes such as Nahan-Kala Amb and Nahan-Paonta Sahib. The operation typically began at 5:20 AM, before regular traffic commenced, aiming to apprehend violations committed by heavy vehicles taking advantage of the darkness and early morning hours. A joint team from the department conducted thorough inspections of heavy vehicles at various checkpoints.

During the checking drive, several tipper trucks and heavy vehicles were found violating government regulations. In particular, some tipper trucks carrying gravel, sand, etc., were found engaging in “axle lifting,” which is not only against the rules of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of the Government of India but also poses a significant threat to road safety. The team took strict action against such vehicles, issuing fines amounting to approximately ₹9 lakh in two days. The team included RTO Sona Chandel, along with ARTOs Rakesh Verma, Harjeet Singh, Dharmendra, and Ajay Tanwar. The team conducted thorough inspections on the Nahan, Kala Amb, and Paonta Sahib routes, given the heavy traffic on these roads. RTO Sona Chandel clarified that such regular campaigns will continue, and strict action will be taken against those who violate the rules to ensure road safety and smooth traffic flow.
