उद्योग, संसदीय मामले एवं श्रम रोज़गार मंत्री हर्षवर्धन चौहान की अध्यक्षता में पंचायत भवन शिलाई में उपमंडल स्तरीय अधिकारियों के साथ विकासात्मक कार्यों की प्रगति की समीक्षा तथा शिकायत निवारण समिति की बैठक आयोजित की गई।बैठक में विभिन्न विभागों से जुड़े लंबित कार्यों, क्रियान्वित हो रही योजनाओं तथा क्षेत्र की जनता से प्राप्त शिकायतों पर विस्तृत चर्चा की गई। उद्योग मंत्री ने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि सभी विकासात्मक परियोजनाओं को निर्धारित समय-सीमा पर गुणवत्तापूर्वक पूरा किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि सरकार की प्राथमिकता पारदर्शिता, सुशासन और जनसंतुष्टि सुनिश्चित करना है। बैठक में जनता से प्राप्त शिकायतों के त्वरित समाधान हेतु विभागीय स्तर पर समन्वय बढ़ाने और उत्तरदायित्व तय करने पर भी जोर दिया गया।

बैठक के दौरान सड़क, शिक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, विद्युत,पेयजल, ब्लॉक स्तर के कार्य तथा अन्य मूलभूत सुविधाओं से संबंधित विभिन्न मुद्दों की प्रगति रिपोर्ट प्रस्तुत की गई। उद्योग मंत्री ने स्पष्ट रूप से कहा कि किसी भी प्रकार की लापरवाही बर्दाश्त नहीं की जाएगी और कार्यों में देरी के लिए संबंधित अधिकारियों की जवाबदेही तय की जाएगी।
उद्योग मंत्री ने कहा कि विकासात्मक कार्यों को गति देने और आमजन को बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करवाना सरकार की सर्वोच्च प्राथमिकता है। उन्होंने सभी अधिकारियों को जनहित के प्रति संवेदनशील रहते हुए कार्य करने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने सभी विभागों को निर्देशित किया कि जनसमस्याओं के समाधान के लिए वन-टू-वन संवाद बढ़ाया जाए तथा समाधान की समय-सीमा का कड़ाई से पालन किया जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि विकासात्मक कार्यों की प्रगति की समीक्षा तथा शिकायत निवारण समिति की पुनः बैठक जनवरी 2026 को आयोजित की जाएगी।

उन्होंने विशेष तौर पर नाबार्ड, लोक निर्माण विभाग, जल शक्ति विभाग तथा विद्युत विभाग को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि यह विभाग सीधे तौर पर आम जनता की सुविधा से जुड़े हैं इसलिए वह सुनिश्चित करें कि उनकी कार्यप्रणाली से क्षेत्र की जनता लाभान्वित हो। उन्होंने सभी विभागों को निर्देश देते हुए कहा कि उनके विभाग से संबंधित भूमि पर अवैध क़ब्ज़े को हाईकोर्ट के दिशा निर्देशानुसार हटाए तथा सभी विभाग इनकी सूची तैयार कर प्रस्तुत करें। बैठक के दौरान अध्यक्ष मार्केटिंग कमेटी सीता राम शर्मा, एसडीएम शिलाई जसपाल, तहसीलदार किरण देवी, बीडीओ अभिषेक ठाकुर, अधिशाषी अभियंता विद्युत विभाग अंशुल ठाकुर, अधिशाषी अभियंता जल शक्ति प्रदीप चौहान, बीएमओ अजय देओल, सीडीपीओ गीता सिंगटा,बीडीसी सदस्य रमेश नेगी तथा प्रकाश, ओएसडी अत्तर राणा, दिनेश सिंगटा सहित विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

A meeting of the Grievance Redressal Committee and the progress review of developmental works was held with sub-division level officials at the Panchayat Bhawan, Shillai, under the chairmanship of Industry, Parliamentary Affairs and Labour Employment Minister Harsh Vardhan Chauhan. The meeting discussed in detail pending works related to various departments, ongoing schemes, and complaints received from the public. The Industry Minister directed officials to ensure quality completion of all developmental projects within the stipulated timeframe. He stated that the government’s priority is to ensure transparency, good governance, and public satisfaction. The meeting also emphasized enhancing coordination at the departmental level and establishing accountability for the prompt resolution of public complaints.

During the meeting, progress reports were presented on various issues related to roads, education, health, electricity, drinking water, block-level works, and other basic amenities. The Industry Minister categorically stated that negligence of any kind will not be tolerated and that the concerned officials will be held accountable for any delays.The Industry Minister stated that accelerating developmental projects and providing better facilities to the public is the government’s top priority. He instructed all officials to work with sensitivity to public interest. He directed all departments to increase one-to-one communication to resolve public issues and strictly adhere to timelines for resolution. He stated that a review of the progress of developmental projects and a meeting of the Grievance Redressal Committee will be held again in January 2026.

He specifically directed NABARD, Public Works Department, Jal Shakti Department and Electricity Department, saying that these departments are directly connected with the convenience of the general public, therefore, they should ensure that the people of the area benefit from their functioning. He directed all the departments to remove illegal encroachments on the land belonging to their departments as per the High Court’s guidelines and all the departments should prepare and submit their list. During the meeting, Chairman Marketing Committee Sita Ram Sharma, SDM Shillai Jaspal, Tehsildar Kiran Devi, BDO Abhishek Thakur, Executive Engineer Electricity Department Anshul Thakur, Executive Engineer Jal Shakti Pradeep Chauhan, BMO Ajay Deol, CDPO Geeta Singta, BDC members Ramesh Negi and Prakash, OSD Attar Rana, Dinesh Singta and officers from various departments were present.
