पांवटा साहिब उपमंडल में नशा तस्करों पर पुलिस की सख़्त कार्रवाई लगातार जारी है। DSP पांवटा मानवेंद्र ठाकुर की अगुवाई में पुलिस टीम क्षेत्र में नशे के सौदागरों पर प्रभावी शिकंजा कस रही है। इसी अभियान के तहत पुलिस थाना शिलाई की टीम ने फेडूवाला (शिलाई) में गश्त व नाकाबंदी के दौरान एक बड़ी सफलता हासिल की है। रोनहाट की ओर से आ रही गाड़ी नं. HP01N 0502 को जब पुलिस ने जांच के लिए रोका, तो उसमें बैठे दो व्यक्तियों—तुला राम पुत्र गीता राम (उम्र 28 वर्ष) तथा रामचंद्र पुत्र गुमान सिंह (उम्र 34 वर्ष), निवासी बिंडला मिल्ला, शिलाई—की तलाशी ली गई। जांच के दौरान रामचंद्र के पास रखे एक बैग से 1.584 किलोग्राम चरस बरामद की गई।

पुलिस ने दोनों आरोपियों के खिलाफ NDPS एक्ट के तहत मामला दर्ज कर लिया है। उन्हें माननीय अदालत में पेश कर पुलिस रिमांड प्राप्त किया जाएगा, ताकि नशा तस्करी के नेटवर्क के बारे में और जानकारी जुटाई जा सके। DSP मानवेंद्र ठाकुर ने कहा कि पांवटा-सिरमौर क्षेत्र में नशे के अवैध कारोबार को जड़ से खत्म करने के लिए पुलिस पूरी मजबूती और प्रतिबद्धता के साथ कार्य कर रही है। उनके नेतृत्व में लगातार हो रही कार्यवाही पुलिस की सतर्कता और कड़े इरादों को दर्शाती हैं।

The police are continuing their strict crackdown on drug traffickers in the Paonta Sahib subdivision. A police team led by DSP Paonta Manvendra Thakur is effectively cracking down on drug dealers in the area. As part of this campaign, the team from Police Station Shillai achieved a major success during a patrol and blockade in Feduwala (Shilai). When police stopped vehicle number HP01N 0502 coming from Ronhat for checking, two occupants—Tula Ram, son of Geeta Ram (28 years old) and Ramchandra, son of Guman Singh (34 years old), residents of Bindla Milla, Shillai—were searched. During the search, 1.584 kilograms of hashish was recovered from a bag carried by Ramchandra.

Police have registered a case against both accused under the NDPS Act. They will be produced before the Honorable Court and police remand will be obtained to gather more information about the drug trafficking network. DSP Manvendra Thakur stated that the police are working with full strength and commitment to eradicate the illegal drug trade in the Paonta-Sirmaur region. The continuous action taken under his leadership demonstrates the police’s vigilance and determination.
