सिरमौर जिले के नाहन में रोटरी क्लब नाहन की तरफ से शुक्रवार को प्राथमिक विद्यालय मोगीनंद-2 में कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया। इस दौरान विधायक अजय सोलंकी ने बतौर मुख्यातिथि शिरकत की। कार्यक्रम में रोटरी क्लब के अध्यक्ष मनीष जैन ने बताया कि विद्यालय प्रबंधन ने उन्हें जानकारी दी थी कि यहां अधिकतर छात्र सीमित संसाधनों वाले परिवारों से आते हैं। छात्रों के अभिभावक आसपास की औद्योगिक इकाइयों में कार्यरत मजदूर वर्ग से जुड़े हैं और इन बच्चों को स्वेटरों की बहुत आवश्यकता है।

कार्यक्रम में क्लब की तरफ से विधायक अजय सोलंकी ने 175 बच्चों को स्वेटर वितरित किए और मिठाइयां भी बांटीं। इसी दौरान सदस्यों ने स्कूल तक जाने वाली क्षतिग्रस्त सड़क का मुद्दा विधायक के समक्ष उठाया। बताया गया कि बरसात के मौसम में छात्रों को बड़ी परेशानी यहां आती है और छात्र स्कूल भी नहीं पहुंच पाते हैं। इस पर विधायक ने आश्वासन दिया कि सड़क का निर्माण कार्य तीन महीनों के भीतर पूरा कर दिया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम में कांग्रेस प्रवक्ता रूपिंद्र ठाकुर, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता नरेंद्र तोमर, राकेश मल्होत्रा, सुरेंद्र राणा, भविष गौतम, तथा एनलोवा फार्मा से राजीव तिवारी, सुमित स्वेन और एसएमसी अध्यक्ष फैज़ मोहम्मद सहित अन्य लोग उपस्थित रहे।

The Rotary Club of Nahan organized a program at Primary School Moginand-2 in Nahan, Sirmaur district, on Friday. MLA Ajay Solanki attended as the chief guest. Rotary Club President Manish Jain explained that the school management had informed him that most of the students come from families with limited resources. The students’ parents are laborers employed in nearby industrial units, and these children are in dire need of sweaters.

MLA Ajay Solanki, on behalf of the club, distributed sweaters and sweets to 175 children at the event. Members also raised the issue of the damaged road leading to the school. They reported that students face significant difficulties during the rainy season and are unable to reach school. The MLA assured them that the road would be completed within three months. Congress spokesperson Rupinder Thakur, social activists Narendra Tomar, Rakesh Malhotra, Surendra Rana, Bhavish Gautam, and Rajiv Tiwari from Enlova Pharma, Sumit Swain, and SMC president Faiz Mohammad, among others, were present at the event.
