पांवटा साहिब में अपराध लगातार बढ़ता जा रहा है। आपसी रंजिश, गैंगवार और मारपीट की बढ़ती घटनाओं ने शहर में दहशत का माहौल पैदा कर दिया है। इसी बीच बुधवार देर रात देवीनगर क्षेत्र में एक सनसनीखेज मामला सामने आया, जब कुख्यात चोर हमजा निवासी देवीनगर ने एक स्थानीय युवक पर देसी कट्टे से फायर करने की कोशिश की। गनीमत रही कि कट्टे से गोली नहीं चली, अन्यथा बड़ी वारदात हो सकती थी। जानकारी के अनुसार घटना दाजी फास्ट फूड के पास हुई, जो महिंद्र सिंह (क्रेशर मालिक) के घर के सामने स्थित है। आरोपी हमजा अपनी सफेद रंग की कार (HP 17F–4994) में मौके पर पहुंचा और वहां खड़े सौरभ पुत्र विनोद कुमार (उम्र 33), वार्ड 10 देवीनगर पर कट्टा तानकर फायर की कोशिश की। तभी आसपास लोग एकत्रित होने लगे, जिसे देखते ही हमजा मौके से फरार हो गया।

कट्टा दिखाते हुए हमजा ने सौरभ पर आरोप लगाया कि वह उसकी “मुखबरी” करता है, इसी रंजिश में उसने यह कदम उठाया। प्रारंभिक जांच में पुष्टि हुई है कि कट्टे से कोई गोली नहीं चली। मौके पर अफरातफरी मच गई, लेकिन किसी को चोट नहीं आई। घटना के समय हमजा की गाड़ी में उसका एक सहयोगी भी मौजूद था। सूचना मिलते ही पुलिस मौके पर पहुंची और पूरे क्षेत्र का मुआयना किया। डीएसपी पांवटा मानवेन्द्र ठाकुर ने बताया कि आरोपी हमजा और उसके साथी के खिलाफ मामला दर्ज कर लिया गया है। पुलिस यह भी जांच कर रही है कि कट्टे से गोली चली थी या नहीं। उन्होंने बताया कि वह स्वयं पीड़ित सौरभ से बात कर पूरी जानकारी ले चुके हैं।डीएसपी ने कहा कि पुलिस की टीमें हमजा की तलाश में जुटी हैं और जल्द ही उसे गिरफ्तार कर लिया जाएगा।

Meanwhile, a sensational incident occurred late Wednesday night in the Devinagar area when notorious thief Hamza, a resident of Devinagar, attempted to fire a country-made pistol at a local youth. Fortunately, the pistol failed to fire, otherwise a major incident could have occurred. According to reports, the incident occurred near Daji Fast Food, located opposite the home of Mahindra Singh, a crusher owner. The accused, Hamza, arrived at the scene in his white car (HP 17F-4994) and pointed the pistol at Saurabh, son of Vinod Kumar (age 33), of Ward 10, Devinagar, who was standing there. As people gathered nearby, Hamza fled the scene.

Showing a pistol, Hamza accused Saurabh of informing on him, and this led to this resentment. Preliminary investigations confirmed that no shots were fired from the pistol. There was chaos at the scene, but no one was injured. An associate of Hamza was also present in his car at the time of the incident. Upon receiving information, police arrived at the scene and inspected the entire area. DSP Paonta, Manvendra Thakur, stated that a case has been registered against the accused Hamza and his accomplice. Police are also investigating whether the pistol was used for firing. He stated that he himself had spoken to the victim, Saurabh, and gathered all the information. The DSP stated that police teams are searching for Hamza and will soon arrest him.
