हिमाचल प्रदेश के सोलन जिले में नशे के खिलाफ चल रहे अभियान के तहत पुलिस को एक बड़ी सफलता हाथ लगी है। देर रात गश्त और नाकाबंदी के दौरान पुलिस थाना सदर की टीम को सूचना मिली कि आंजी के समीप शामती बाइपास पर एक कार संदिग्ध अवस्था में खड़ी है। बताया गया कि इस कार में पवन कुमार और राकेश शर्मा उर्फ गजनी नामक दो युवक मौजूद हैं, जिनके पास चिट्टा/हेरोइन की भारी मात्रा है। सूचना के आधार पर पुलिस टीम तुरंत मौके पर पहुंची और संदिग्ध कार की तलाशी ली। तलाशी के दौरान कार में बैठे दोनों युवकों के कब्जे से 4.36 ग्राम चिट्टा/हेरोइन बरामद की गई। पुलिस ने मौके पर ही दोनों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। आरोपियों की पहचान पवन कुमार पुत्र राजकुमार, निवासी वृंदावन कॉलोनी लोअर सेरी, सोलन (38) और राकेश शर्मा उर्फ गजनी पुत्र स्व. कृष्ण दत्त शर्मा, निवासी गांव मणांजी, शामती, सोलन (35) के रूप में हुई है। पुलिस ने मामले में संलिप्त कार को कब्जे में लेकर आगे की जांच शुरू कर दी है।

In Himachal Pradesh’s Solan district, police have achieved a major success in their ongoing anti-drug campaign. During a late-night patrol and blockade, a team from Police Station Sadar received information about a car parked in a suspicious condition on the Shamati bypass near Anji. The car was carrying a large quantity of chitta/heroin, identified as Pawan Kumar and Rakesh Sharma alias Ghazni. Based on the information, the police team immediately arrived at the scene and searched the suspicious car. During the search, 4.36 grams of chitta/heroin was recovered from the possession of the two men. Police arrested both men on the spot. The accused have been identified as Pawan Kumar, son of Rajkumar, resident of Vrindavan Colony, Lower Seri, Solan (38), and Rakesh Sharma alias Ghazni, son of the late Krishna Dutt Sharma, resident of Mananji village, Shamati, Solan (35). Police have seized the car involved in the case and initiated further investigation.
