उपायुक्त कार्यालय नाहन के सभागार में जिला स्तरीय सार्वजनिक वितरण प्रणाली और जिला स्तरीय सतर्कता समिति की समीक्षा बैठक हुई। इसमें जिला नियंत्रक, खाद्य, नागरिक आपूर्ति एवं उपभोक्ता मामले सिरमौर शमशेर सिंह ने बताया कि जून से अक्तूबर माह तक 1385 निरीक्षण दुकानों के किए गए, जिनमें 6 मामलों में अनियमितताएं पाई गई। उन्होंने बताया कि विभागीय कार्यवाही के दौरान डिपो धारकों को चेतावनी दी गई और 11 हजार रुपये जुर्माना वसूल कर सरकारी कोष में जमा करवाया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके अतिरिक्त 281 दुकानदारों के प्रतिबंधित पॉलिथीन के निरीक्षण किए गए, जिसमें 27 दुकानदारों के पास प्रतिबंधित पॉलिथीन पाए जाने पर 22 हजार रुपये जुर्माना वसूल कर सरकारी कोष में जमा करवाया गया।

इससे पूर्व बैठक की अध्यक्षता करते हुए उपायुक्त सिरमौर प्रियंका वर्मा ने सभी संबंधित विभागों के अधिकारियों को अधिनियम के अनुरूप योजनाओं के क्रियान्वयन के निर्देश दिए। इसमें बताया गया कि अन्तोदय अन्न योजना के अन्तर्गत चयनित लाभार्थियों को 18.800 किलोग्राम आटा और 15 किलोग्राम चावल प्रति कार्ड की दर से निशुल्क प्रदान किया जा रहा है। बैठक में अध्यक्ष जिला परिषद सिरमौर सीमा कन्याल, परियोजना अधिकारी जिला ग्रामीण विकास अभिकरण द्विज गोयल समेत अन्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

A review meeting of the district level public distribution system and district level vigilance committee was held in the auditorium of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Nahan. In this, District Controller, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Sirmaur Shamsher Singh said that from June to October, 1385 inspections were conducted of shops, in which irregularities were found in 6 cases. He said that during the departmental proceedings, depot holders were warned and a fine of Rs 11 thousand was collected and deposited in the government treasury. He said that apart from this, 281 shopkeepers were inspected for banned polythene, in which banned polythene was found with 27 shopkeepers, and a fine of Rs 22 thousand was collected and deposited in the government treasury.

Earlier, while presiding over the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Sirmaur Priyanka Verma directed the officials of all the concerned departments to implement the schemes as per the Act. It was informed that under the Antyodaya Anna Yojana, selected beneficiaries are being provided 18,800 kg flour and 15 kg rice per card free of cost. Chairman Zila Parishad Sirmaur Seema Kanyal, Project Officer District Rural Development Agency Dwij Goyal and other officials were present in the meeting.
