विकासनगर। थाना क्षेत्र में हुई वाहन चोरी की घटना का खुलासा विकासनगर पुलिस ने मात्र 24 घंटे के भीतर कर दिया। पुलिस ने मुखबिर की सूचना पर कार्रवाई करते हुए शातिर वाहन चोर सादिक उर्फ घुसपैठिया पुत्र नूर अली निवासी मगनपुरा, थाना मिर्जापुर, जनपद सहारनपुर (उ.प्र.) को चोरी की गई स्प्लेंडर मोटरसाइकिल (नंबर UK16E5420) सहित गिरफ्तार कर लिया।

जानकारी के अनुसार, 9 नवंबर को शिकायतकर्ता मुस्पिक पुत्र कल्लू निवासी धर्मावाला ने पुलिस को तहरीर दी थी कि उनकी मोटरसाइकिल क्लाउड वेडिंग प्वाइंट, पांवटा रोड हरबर्टपुर के बाहर से चोरी हो गई है। शिकायत पर पुलिस ने तत्परता दिखाते हुए सीसीटीवी फुटेज खंगाले और मुखबिर तंत्र को सक्रिय किया।

लगातार सुरागरसी के बाद पुलिस टीम ने 12 नवंबर की रात करीब 12:20 बजे आरोपी को आदर्श विहार आम के बाग के पास से चोरी की मोटरसाइकिल सहित दबोच लिया।

पूछताछ में सादिक उर्फ घुसपैठिया ने बताया कि वह नशे का आदी है और नशे की पूर्ति के लिए चोरी की वारदातें करता है। पुलिस जांच में सामने आया कि आरोपी का आपराधिक इतिहास रहा है और उस पर हरियाणा व उत्तर प्रदेश के कई थानों में चोरी, आर्म्स एक्ट और एनडीपीएस एक्ट के तहत मुकदमे दर्ज हैं।

Intruder Nabbed by Vikasnagar Police, Stolen Splendor Recovered — Case Solved Within 24 Hours

Vikasnagar. Vikasnagar police successfully solved a vehicle theft case within just 24 hours. Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested a notorious bike thief, Sadiq alias Ghuspethiya, son of Noor Ali, resident of Maganpura, Police Station Mirzapur, District Saharanpur (U.P.), and recovered the stolen Splendor motorcycle (registration number UK16E5420) from his possession.

According to the information, on November 9, complainant Musfiq, son of Kallu, resident of Dharmawala, lodged a report stating that his motorcycle, parked outside Cloud Wedding Point on Paonta Road, Herbertpur, had been stolen. Acting promptly on the complaint, police examined CCTV footage and activated their informer network.

After continuous tracking, the police team apprehended the accused along with the stolen motorcycle on the night of November 12, around 12:20 a.m., near Aadarsh Vihar, Aam ke Bagh.

During interrogation, Sadiq alias Ghuspethiya revealed that he is addicted to drugs and commits thefts to fulfill his addiction. Investigation further disclosed that he has a criminal history, with multiple cases registered against him under theft, Arms Act, and NDPS Act in various police stations across Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
