पांवटा साहिब-शिलाई एनएच पर सतौन में बस ठहराव के पास प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्र (पीएचसी) का दो मंजिला भवन बन रहा है। इसके तैयार होने से क्षेत्र की 12 से अधिक पंचायतों की हजारों की आबादी को स्वास्थ्य लाभ मिलेगा। दरअसल, स्वास्थ्य खंड राजपुर के अंतर्गत सतौन में लोक निर्माण विभाग की ओर से दो मंजिला पीएचसी भवन का निर्माण किया जा रहा है। भवन पर 60 लाख रुपये की राशि खर्च की जा रही है। अभी तक करीब 50 फीसदी से अधिक कार्य पूरा हो चुका है। जानकारी के अनुसार पहली मंजिल में ओपीडी, टीकाकरण कक्ष, दवाइयों का भंडार अन्य कक्ष होंगे।

इसके अलावा इसी मंजिल पर मरीजों को दाखिल करने के लिए 10 बिस्तरों की व्यवस्था भी की गई। डॉक्टर और फार्मासिस्ट के ड्यूटी कक्ष होंगे। दूसरी मंजिल पर चिकित्सक और फार्मासिस्ट का आवास होगा। सतौन में पीएचसी भवन बनने से पोक्का, बड़वास, सतौन, मालगी, मुंगलोवाला करतारपुर पंचायत का कुछ क्षेत्र, कोडगा, सखोली, छछेती समेत 12 से अधिक पंचायत के लोगों को स्वास्थ्य सुविधाएं और उपचार मिलेगा। लोक निर्माण विभाग के सहायक अभियंता योगेश शर्मा ने बताया कि पीएचसी भवन के दूसरी मंजिल पर छत डाल दी गई है। कार्य प्रगति पर है। जल्द ही इसे पूरा कर विभाग के सुपुर्द किया जाएगा।

Once completed, thousands of people from more than 12 panchayats in the area will receive health benefits. The Public Works Department is constructing a two-story PHC building in Sataun, under the Rajpur Health Block. An amount of 60 lakh rupees is being spent on the building. More than 50 percent of the work has been completed so far. According to information, the first floor will house an OPD, vaccination room, medicine storage, and other rooms.

Apart from this, arrangements for 10 beds for admitting patients have also been made on this floor. There will be duty rooms for the doctor and pharmacist. The second floor will be the residence of the doctor and pharmacist. With the construction of the PHC building in Sataun, people of more than 12 panchayats including Pokka, Badwas, Sataun, Malgi, some areas of Munglowala Kartarpur Panchayat, Kodga, Sakholi, Chhachheti will get health facilities and treatment. Assistant Engineer of Public Works Department Yogesh Sharma said that the roof has been put on the second floor of the PHC building. The work is in progress. Soon it will be completed and handed over to the department.
