पांवटा यूनाइटेड फुटबॉल क्लब द्वारा आयोजित पांवटा सुपर कप 2025 फुटबॉल टूर्नामेंट का आठवां संस्करण रविवार को संपन्न हुआ, जिसमें दून वैली देहरादून ने शानदार प्रदर्शन करते हुए खिताब अपने नाम किया। फाइनल मुकाबले में दून वैली देहरादून ने दून वारियर्स देहरादून को 4-0 से पराजित किया। टूर्नामेंट में शाश्वत और अमित भट्ट ने सर्वाधिक चार-चार गोल किए और अपनी टीम को मज़बूती दी। वहीं 40 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग के खिलाड़ियों के फाइनल में FFC पांवटा साहिब ने अंबाला को 2-1 से हराकर जीत दर्ज की। समर्थ ध्यानी को टूर्नामेंट का सर्वश्रेष्ठ खिलाड़ी घोषित किया गया।

यह प्रतियोगिता 6 से 9 नवंबर तक खेली गई, जिसमें पंजाब, हरियाणा, उत्तराखंड और चंडीगढ़ सहित विभिन्न राज्यों से आई 30 टीमों ने भाग लिया।समापन समारोह में विधायक सुखराम चौधरी मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में उपस्थित रहे। उन्होंने आयोजन समिति को इस उत्कृष्ट पहल के लिए बधाई दी और कहा कि युवाओं में खेल भावना को बढ़ावा देने के लिए वह निरंतर प्रयासरत रहेंगे। कार्यक्रम में क्लब अध्यक्ष अनुज शर्मा, पदाधिकारी, सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता एवं गण्यमान्य व्यक्ति उपस्थित रहे। पूरे आयोजन के दौरान स्थानीय खेल प्रेमियों और दर्शकों का उत्साह देखने लायक रहा।आयोजकों के अनुसार, प्रतियोगिता के विजेता को ₹61,000 व ट्रॉफी, उपविजेता को ₹41,000 व ट्रॉफी, जबकि 40 वर्ष से अधिक आयु वर्ग के विजेता को ₹11,000 व ट्रॉफी प्रदान की गई।

The eighth edition of the Paonta Super Cup 2025 football tournament, organized by Paonta United Football Club, concluded on Sunday, in which Doon Valley Dehradun won the title with a brilliant performance. In the final match, Doon Valley Dehradun defeated Doon Warriors Dehradun by 4-0. Shashwat and Amit Bhatt scored the maximum four goals each in the tournament and strengthened their team. In the final of players above 40 years of age group, FFC Paonta Sahib won by defeating Ambala by 2-1. Samarth Dhyani was declared the best player of the tournament.

The competition, held from November 6th to 9th, featured 30 teams from various states, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, and Chandigarh. MLA Sukhram Chaudhary was the chief guest at the closing ceremony. He congratulated the organizing committee for this excellent initiative and expressed his commitment to continue to promote sportsmanship among youth. Club President Anuj Sharma, officials, social workers, and dignitaries were present at the event. The enthusiasm of local sports fans and spectators was palpable throughout the event. According to the organizers, the winner of the competition received ₹61,000 and a trophy, the runner-up ₹41,000 and a trophy, while the winner in the over-40 category received ₹11,000 and a trophy.
