हिमाचल प्रदेश सरकार ने स्कूल शिक्षा बोर्ड की इंप्रूवमेंट पॉलिसी (सुधार नीति) को औपचारिक मंजूरी दे दी है। फैसले के लागू होते ही मार्च 2026 से होने वाली 10वीं की बोर्ड परीक्षा में कोई भी विद्यार्थी न फेल होगा और न कंपार्टमेंट आएगी। सरकार की स्वीकृति के साथ ही अमर उजाला में 21 जुलाई के अंक में प्रकाशित खबर पर मुहर लग गई है। नई नीति से विद्यार्थियों पर शैक्षणिक दबाव घटेगा और पढ़ाई में सुधार का अवसर मिलेगा। नई व्यवस्था के तहत शिक्षा बोर्ड वर्ष में दो बार परीक्षा लेगा।

पहली परीक्षा मार्च में, जबकि सुधार परीक्षा जून-जुलाई में होगी। जो विद्यार्थी मार्च की मुख्य परीक्षा में असफल होंगे, उन्हें जून-जुलाई में दूसरा मौका मिलेगा। इससे उनका पूरा साल बर्बाद नहीं होगा। नई नीति में फेल और कंपार्टमेंट जैसे शब्द खत्म हो जाएंगे। पॉलिसी पहले चरण में 10वीं कक्षा के लिए लागू होगी। शिक्षा विभाग अब इसे 12वीं कक्षा में लागू करने की संभावनाओं पर काम कर रहा है। बोर्ड के सचिव डॉ. मेजर विशाल शर्मा ने बताया कि इंप्रूवमेंट पॉलिसी को सरकार से स्वीकृति मिल चुकी है। जल्द अधिसूचना जारी कर दी जाएगी।

The Himachal Pradesh government has formally approved the School Education Board’s Improvement Policy. Once implemented, no student will fail or be compartmented in the 10th-grade board exams, starting in March 2026. With the government’s approval, the news published in the July 21st issue of Amar Ujala has been confirmed. The new policy will reduce academic pressure on students and provide an opportunity for improvement in their studies. Under the new system, the Education Board will conduct exams twice a year.

The first exam will be held in March, while the improvement exam will be held in June-July. Students who fail the main exam in March will get a second chance in June-July. This will prevent their entire year from being wasted. The new policy will eliminate terms like fail and compartment. The policy will be implemented for class 10 in the first phase. The Education Department is now working on the possibility of implementing it in class 12. Board Secretary Dr. Major Vishal Sharma said that the improvement policy has been approved by the government and a notification will be issued soon.
