पीएम श्री कन्या वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक विद्यालय पांवटा साहिब में सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की 150वीं जयंती धूमधाम से मनाई गई। कार्यक्रम का आयोजन भारत भारती संस्था द्वारा किया गया। कार्यक्रम में बतौर मुख्य अतिथि एन. एम. वर्मा, राज्य अध्यक्ष भारत भारती, तथा सरदार एन. पी. एस. नारंग, राज्य उपाध्यक्ष भारत भारती संस्था ने शिरकत की। कार्यक्रम का शुभारंभ दीप प्रज्वलन और सरदार पटेल की प्रतिमा पर माल्यार्पण से हुआ। विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य मुंशी राम वर्मा ने सभी अतिथियों का स्वागत करते हुए सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की जयंती पर शुभकामनाएं दीं।

प्रमुख वक्ता जीवन प्रकाश जोशी, मुख्याध्यापक राजकीय उच्च विद्यालय बहराल ने सरदार पटेल के देशहित में योगदान और उनके जीवन से विद्यार्थियों को प्रेरणा लेने का संदेश दिया। विद्यालय की छात्राओं अनुष्का कपूर और दीक्षा चौधरी ने ‘लौह पुरुष’ के जीवन पर अपने विचार रखे। छात्राओं ने सरदार पटेल के पोस्टर्स बनाकर उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि भी अर्पित की।कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने वाली छात्राओं को भारत भारती संस्था की ओर से पुरस्कृत किया गया। अंत में एकता दौड़ आयोजित की गई, जिसमें विद्यालय के अध्यापकों व विद्यार्थियों ने उत्साहपूर्वक भाग लेकर एकता और सद्भाव का संदेश दिया। इस अवसर पर राज किशोर त्यागी, बी. डी. शर्मा, अजय शर्मा (सेवानिवृत्त प्रधानाचार्य), जीवन प्रकाश जोशी सहित विद्यालय परिवार उपस्थित रहा।

The 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated with great pomp at PM Shri Kanya Senior Secondary School, Paonta Sahib. The program was organized by Bharat Bharti Sanstha. N.M. Verma, State President, Bharat Bharti, and Sardar N.P.S. Narang, State Vice President, Bharat Bharti Sanstha, attended the program as chief guests. The program began with the lighting of a lamp and garlanding the statue of Sardar Patel. The school’s Principal, Munshi Ram Verma, welcomed all the guests and extended his best wishes on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

The main speaker, Jeevan Prakash Joshi, Principal, Government Higher Secondary School, Bahral, gave the message of Sardar Patel’s contribution to the nation and for the students to take inspiration from his life. School students Anushka Kapoor and Diksha Chaudhary shared their views on the life of the ‘Iron Man’. The students also paid tribute to Sardar Patel by making posters of him. The students who participated in the program were awarded by Bharat Bharti Sanstha. In the end, a unity race was organized, in which the teachers and students of the school participated enthusiastically and gave the message of unity and harmony. On this occasion, the school family including Raj Kishore Tyagi, B. D. Sharma, Ajay Sharma (retired Principal), Jeevan Prakash Joshi were present.
