पांवटा साहिब में शराब ठेकों पर मनमानी वसूली का मामला सामने आया है। भाटिया पैलेस के पास स्थित शराब के ठेके पर एक युवक से प्रिंट रेट से अधिक रकम वसूले जाने का आरोप लगा है। युवक ने सोशल मीडिया पर शराब की बोतल और पेमेंट का स्क्रीनशॉट साझा करते हुए बताया कि उसने आइकॉनिक व्हाइट ब्रांड की बोतल खरीदी, जिसका प्रिंट रेट ₹170 था, लेकिन उससे ₹210 वसूले गए। युवक का कहना है कि यह समस्या केवल एक ठेके तक सीमित नहीं है, बल्कि पांवटा साहिब के कई ठेकों पर ग्राहकों से इसी तरह अतिरिक्त पैसे लिए जा रहे हैं। लोगों ने प्रशासन से इस मामले पर संज्ञान लेने और ऐसी मनमानी वसूली करने वाले ठेकेदारों के खिलाफ सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की है।

A case of arbitrary extortion at liquor shops in Paonta Sahib has come to light. A young man has been accused of being charged more than the printed rate at a liquor shop near Bhatia Palace. Sharing a screenshot of the liquor bottle and payment on social media, the young man explained that he purchased a bottle of the iconic White brand, which had a printed rate of ₹170, but was charged ₹210. The young man says that this problem isn’t limited to just one shop; many other shops in Paonta Sahib are charging customers similarly. People have demanded the administration take cognizance of this matter and take strict action against contractors who make such arbitrary collections.
