शिलाई अस्पताल में लापरवाही का गंभीर मामला सामने आया है, जहां स्टाफ की कथित लापरवाही के चलते एक दिन के नवजात शिशु की मौत हो गई। यह आरोप लगाए हैं सिरमौर जिला के कोटी भौंच गांव के गोपाल सिंगटा ने।गोपाल ने बताया कि उनकी पत्नी ने शिलाई अस्पताल में नॉर्मल डिलीवरी की थी और बच्चा पूरी तरह स्वस्थ था, जिसका वजन 3.3 किलो से अधिक था। लेकिन अगले ही दिन बच्चे को तेज बुखार हो गया। डॉक्टर ने दवाइयां दीं और कहा कि स्थिति बिगड़ने पर तुरंत जानकारी दें। गोपाल का कहना है कि रात को बच्चे की हालत खराब हुई तो उन्होंने तीन से चार बार नर्सों को बुलाया, लेकिन कोई नहीं आया।

नर्सों ने उन्हें खुद थर्मामीटर उठाकर तापमान देखने को कहा। जब तक गोपाल ने जांच की, बच्चे का तापमान 106 डिग्री से ऊपर पहुंच चुका था। परिजन तुरंत बच्चे को पांवटा साहिब अस्पताल ले जाने निकले, लेकिन रास्ते में ही मासूम ने दम तोड़ दिया। भावुक पिता ने पांवटा साहिब अस्पताल पहुंचकर मीडिया के सामने कहा आज मुझे बेटे को लेकर घर जाना था, लेकिन नर्सों की लापरवाही के कारण मैं खाली हाथ लौट रहा हूं। इस लापरवाही के जिम्मेदारों पर सख्त कार्रवाई होनी चाहिए। उधर, शिलाई अस्पताल के इंचार्ज ने बताया कि मामले की जांच शुरू कर दी गई है और दोषी नर्सों पर कार्रवाई की जाएगी। पूरी रिपोर्ट प्रशासन को सौंपी जाएगी।

A serious case of negligence has come to light at Shillai Hospital, where a one-day-old newborn died due to alleged negligence of the staff. These allegations have been made by Gopal Singta of Koti Bhaunch village of Sirmaur district. Gopal said that his wife had a normal delivery at Shillai Hospital and the baby was completely healthy, weighing more than 3.3 kg. But the very next day the baby developed high fever. The doctor gave him medicines and told him to inform immediately if the condition worsened. Gopal says that when the baby’s condition worsened at night, he called the nurses three to four times, but no one came.

The nurses asked him to pick up the thermometer himself and check the temperature. By the time Gopal checked, the child’s temperature had reached above 106 degrees. The family immediately left to take the child to Paonta Sahib Hospital, but the innocent child died on the way. An emotional father reached Paonta Sahib Hospital and told the media, “Today I had to take my son home, but due to the negligence of the nurses, I am returning empty-handed. Strict action should be taken against those responsible for this negligence.” Meanwhile, the in-charge of Shillai Hospital said that an investigation has been started into the matter and action will be taken against the guilty nurses. The entire report will be submitted to the administration.
